You obviously haven't read a thing I've typed....
Once again, this is not about the troops.... It is not about them at all....
It's about FRAGO 242!!!!!!!!!!!
The troops didn't make that order.... Our gov did.... An order not to do anything when encountering it.
Keep in mind that detainees were threatened with and turned over to torture squads of Iraqi police....
Yes I am righteous enough to say that whoever signed that order should be tried for war crimes....
This isn't about stress or fog of war, but of systematic torture ordered by the US gov in the form of the Bush administration

Systematic Torture? Wow, you certainly have a way of making what's written sound worse. The US turned a blind eye (actually they reported what they
saw, far from blind eyes imo), because Iraq is supposed to be sovereign. Although most think the USA is the world's police, they are not. What Iraq
does to its own people is the responsibility of the Iraqi Leadership. They should be punished, the USA should be doing what they are doing which is
report it. The US government should be reporting those reports to the UN and NATO and ensure that whatever crimes are committed are properly reported
and prosecuted. Do we know for a fact this was not reported to the UN or NATO? Do we know for a fact that the USA was ignoring this and attempting to
bury it? Maybe they were waiting for stability in Iraq before prosecuting the only leadership they had? You have no clue about the symantecs of war
and politics to Judge, so why do you judge?
Its all black and white to you but war is never that simple, neither is politics.
Fact is soldiers reported the problems and did what international law implies. Should the UN be responsible for Darfur because they didn't stop the
genocide but only reported it? Should the UN be responsible for Cambodia's genocide because all they did was report it?
This is standard procedure and your anger and resentment of this policy proves how ignorant you are of the international laws and how countries react
towards other countries that go against human rights.
Why not face facts. Your Anti-USA and anything that can be made to show the US in a bad light is something you will push in everyones face to back up
your feelings. Thats where your problem lies, your too invested emotionally to really get to the truth of all this, like many others in this
topic.
