Found this on another forum. It seems to be a strange story given the "carbon tax" orgy going on world wide.

Wonder why they are trying to change so quickly? Is the planet cooling noticeably? Or are they expecting such?

Bilderberg. Whether you believe it’s part of a sinister conspiracy which will lead inexorably to one world government or whether you think it’s just an innocent high-level talking shop, there’s one thing that can’t be denied: it knows which way the wind is blowing. (Hat tips: Will/NoIdea/Ozboy)

At its June meeting in Sitges, Spain (unreported and held in camera, as is Bilderberg’s way), some of the world’s most powerful CEOs rubbed shoulders with notable academics and leading politicians. They included: the chairman of Fiat, the Irish Attorney General Paul Gallagher, the US special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard Holbrooke, Henry Kissinger, Bill Gates, Dick Perle, the Queen of the Netherlands, the editor of the Economist…. Definitely not Z-list, in other words.

Which is what makes one particular item on the group’s discussion agenda so tremendously significant. See if you can spot the one I mean:

The 58th Bilderberg Meeting will be held in Sitges, Spain 3 – 6 June 2010. The Conference will deal mainly with Financial Reform, Security, Cyber Technology, Energy, Pakistan, Afghanistan, World Food Problem, Global Cooling, Social Networking, Medical Science, EU-US relations.

Yep, that’s right. Global Cooling.

Which means one of two things.

Either it was a printing error.

Or the global elite is perfectly well aware that global cooling represents a far more serious and imminent threat to the world than global warming, but is so far unwilling to admit it except behind closed doors.

Go read the rest

"Our Leaders" are working on the newfound "Global Cooling" problem. There is nothing to fear here, folks. Nothing at all to be suspicious of.

Nice find, and a great take on what I unfortunately believe to be the reality of the situation.

I encourage folks to read the Editorial.

i view the "Bilderberg" group as a representation of the "Military Industrial Complex" that runs our world. Guaranteed that at least half a dozen of those members are related to various intelligence agencies.

But when they convene, knowing what is on the plate is always important. It will be interesting to see how they try to sell "Global Cooling".

I am very skeptical of the current "disclosures". And would not be one bit surprised if they played into the puzzle with this global cooling bit. I notice that "energy" is, once again, a topic listed for discussion.

In the 1970's, every environmentalist on the planet was talking about the upcoming "global cooling" issue and that the 1970's and the decades before it were the coolest on record. Now, all of a sudden, all that data seems to have been skewed around the other way. The data has now been recorellated to show that the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s were getting hotter each decade, despite data and documentaries from the 70's showing that the 50s and 60s were cooling off, not heating up towards the 70s.

Of course, it's next to impossible to find any of those documentaries online, as most of them have been destroyed by TPTB. There were many specials in the early - mid 70's talking about global cooling, leading up to the energy crisis of 1976 and beyond. Oil was being used to HEAT homes because it was SO COLD, and was in short supply due to OPEC production olicies.

In the early 1980's, UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher was in a lengthy battle with the Miners' Union, led by Arthur Scargill. She was very, very eager to make COAL look like the bad guy in the neighborhood, and was pushing hard for a power generation policy based on nuclear energy, despite many safety concerns.

The Miners' strike ran from 1984-1985. In 1984, Thatcher became the first PMin the world to appoint a CABINET LEVEL environment minister, based on "scientific data" that even her right hand man, Finance Minister (Chancellor) Nigel Lawson, told her was "complete nonsense". The Governments of the rest of the world quickly followed her example. As part of the "coal is the bad guy" image, data was produced to show that coal was excessively damaging the environment through CO2 emmissions and that nuclear energy wouldn't have the same effect. This was of course, complete nonsense.

In 1986, the Chernobyl nuclear disaster put to rest any speculation about completely basing a country's energy needs on nuclear power, but the whole "global warming" issue has stayed with us ever since, despite the previous data showing ongoing global cooling, and despite the fact that even with this data, the governments of the world and TPTB knew that global environmental cooling/warming cycles were ongoing cycles seen throughout the history of the planet, even before humans, and on other planets where there is no human interaction at all.

It's amazing that everyone keeps going on about global warming being a man made issue (I'm not denying global warming or climate change exists, just that it's NOT a man made problem). People keep ignoring the data on OTHER PLANETS in our solar system showing that they are ALL going through a period of warming, too.

I tend to believe that there must be some sort of big fireball at the center of the solar system that affects the warming/cooling on EVERY planet AT THE SAME TIME.

It is interesting that the Security apparatus managed to produce a new OBL tape telling us that Global Warming was the biggest threat to the world......So it must be true. Thus speaks a dead Arab from beyond the grave.

Couldn't agree more, but theres no money/profit in common sense it would seem..

The Tibetans have a belief that uranium is the "skeleton" of the Earth. They believe that pulling it out via mining damages the Earth.

A friend from here at ATS told me of a theory that Kr85, as a byproduct of plutonium refinement, gravitates to the poles creating a disruption in the electrical circuit that exists between the Earth and the Sun. This member didn't put much credence in this, but he did mention the nuclear blasts, and their effect on our magnetosphere, as a concern. As well, the HAARP exercises, which are publicized to "charge the ionosphere".

Considering that the Earth and the Sun are a part of multiple dynamic systems involving vast amounts of elecrtical current, it is not hard to imagine that human science, itself, is a major cause of the climate woes. As a matter of fact, it would then seem reasonable that man could, in fact, be responsible for the climate changes throughout the solar system. The Sun, in its bid to stabilize the system, has changed its output.

While it is a wild "theory", it is interesting nonetheless.

Speaking of Global Cooling.....

Did you catch this news, yet?

www.space.com...

"If we are right, this could be the last solar maximum we'll see for a few decades," Hill said. "That would affect everything from space exploration to Earth's climate."

"could lead to a second Maunder Minimum, which was a 70-year period from 1645 to 1715 when the sun showed virtually no sunspots" -from article

....This is really interesting...as many scientists believe the Maunder Minimum may have caused the "Little Ice Age" en.wikipedia.org... article

Also this article.......

Earth may be headed into a mini Ice Age within a decade
