spy equipment finders

I believe my house has bugs in it( can we please not turn this into a Discussion of Im lying, or panoid and so on and instead just give advice regardless of what you believe). Ive been researching equipment and services to find the bugs but most of them are out of my price range. I thought about renting the equipment but I could not find any local stores in my area that rent it. I did a google serach to find stores online that rented the equipment but most were a ripoff and some used shady pratices. "www.dpl-surveillance-equipment.com"More then triples the supposed retail price of a hidden camera finder to make the rental price seem more resonable. The rental price of the camera finder is almost the full retail price of it from a nonshady store. My question is are there stores to rent equipment at resonable prices or is there a store who has a good return policy I can abuse so that I can get most of my money back. I Mainly use amazon for online purchases but since I never have returned anything I dont know how great their return policy.I also dont know if the policies for indepedent sellers will be different since they might be the only ones to sell the equipment.

Any help would be appreciated

Try a local private investigator they might rent to you or do it for you for a price.
Cant really think of anything else.

I already looked into private Investigators and they are way out of my price range. The starting price is around 250 at most of them and it could end up being several times that due to the size of the house. I dont know of any near me that are willing to rent equipment since they rather you pay them a huge amount of money to do the search themselves.

Listen...I understand. I have a little advice for you. Number one, watch 'The Conversation'.

Don't buy anything. Even a pro won't help you if 'they' want to spy. Their equipment is a quarter million in a briefcase, and guess what? They will not find anything if 'they' don't want anything found.

The new age tech is basically undetectable because it is smart enough to shut off any signal the instant it detects a sweep. Most likely it is done with beams and not some hardware that you can actually hold in your hands. You are wasting your time. Best advice I can give is give your concerns to God. As such...'they' will hear only the door being opened to their own sealed undoing. I am being obscure, yes, but I am also serious. There is nothing that you can do. I have spend thousands on sweepers and they are a joke. Expensive, fragile, and pointless. All they will do is tell you what channel your tv set is tuned to, unless you have unplugged it and everything else with a tuner in your area. Also, the frequencies never end. You may think you are covering the whole range, but you would be wrong. Everythng is encrypted as well, so even if you do luck on the signal, all you will hear is static. The fact is that they can read the mind. You cannot escape the humungous, who rules the waste land, by throwing money at a dead industry.

Save your time and give your cares to one who can help you.

Are you talking about cameras or mikes or both? Arent cameras at least easier to detect? I cant do nothing and I have to try even if it is far fetched. Do you have experince first hand with anti survelliance equipment? I really dont see what a movie from 1974 has to do with anything

The movie reveals the futility of trying to compete with technology and evil men. The age of the movie has no bearing on the message.

After 911 I began to explore the net. I was shocked to drag up one dead 404 link after another when I tried to see the latest in spy gear. Finally one page explained that due to terris concerns, they cannot reveal sensitive information, and they showed a modern 'bug', which was the size of a shoe box! Not joking here.

So, whether cameras are easier to detect etc., I wouldn't know. But I do believe it is wireless, as concerns cops. My guess is that the devices can create a spyhole from thin air. See around corners, through walls, pick up sound like an assassin fires at a naked target. Mossad and other kingpins of evil have stuff that cracks the mind. At first you'll hear an echo of your thoughts, until you become used to it, such as when you become used to the smell of fresh paint in a room. You should look into string theory and quit spinning your tires. I am not saying 'what have you got to hide'. I am saying that you ought not need be concerned with evil. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

If you are thinking about cameras you can easily purchase a camera detector from ebay or a specialist shops. Basically the device will beep as it moves through a signal being transmitted from the bug. The beeps will get closer together the closer you are to the emitter allowing you to find the device. If you are not sure you can do a test with your own device such as a mobile phone.

Thankyou for taking the time to post anyway. I just need to concentrate on what I can find and not what is impossible to find.

Well other than the device I suggested, my only other idea would be to bug yourself. Set up your own surveillance within your property, preferably outside looking towards the house, so that any operator of interior bugs will not be aware of your activity. As you do this just act business as usual and be very casual. Get the surveillance equipment delivered to someone else's house, and pay for it on another computer.

If someone has gone to the trouble of entering your house and planting bugs, they are probably monitoring your Internet and computer activity too.

If you don't mind me asking again why do you feel like your being spied on?

Really dont want to say why or what else they are doing because I dont want to hijack my own thread and turn it into another topic.

No worries all I wanted to know was if your paranoia was justified. If there are elements affecting other areas it might just be.

I know for sure that there are microphones, cameras. (again please dont turn this into a converstation of how and why) What I really want as I said before is information on how to get decent equipment cheap.

Go ahead...go the RS and spend 30 bucks on the 'camera finder'. You'll find that there's a camera EVERYWHERE. It will be triggered by signals that have nothing to do with your personal surveillance.

Then buy a Alinco DJ X2000. It will not do what you want because it is analog, and nobody can decode an encrypted digital signal anyhow. Another 700 down the drain, but at least he's tryin', eh? Then run through the optcon catalog, and blow another 3K on frequency counters, since the ptb are aware that you are on to them, and now your only wish is to capture that signal, even if it's only a red blip, no sound, not even static. But get too near a strong signal and boom, the front end is blown out.

Now who exactly benefits from this?

Then you can find a used Icom IC 3, the little television with police channels and all up to 2400 MHz. It will pull in uncoded analog camera signals provided that you make, or buy, a real antenna. Although I fully understand the frame of mind being presented here, with what I have learned about tptb and em tesla applications of mind surveillance, I cannot wrap my mind around this to give an answer, sigh, unless I take a time trip to 1940 or so.
