Glenn Beck has Nazi Tourettes!

One cannot contemplate the state of US politics and the devisive tactics used by the 'news' media without thinking about Glenn Beck. Love him or hate him, you simply cannot discount his effect in the devisive state of of our nation. If you are on the Right, he is a hero. If you are on the left, he is a shill voice rousing the rabble.

Saint or Sinner, one cannot deny that his favorite card to play it seems is the Nazi card. Sometimes we cannot see what is in front of our face until it is pointed out to us, and Comedian Lewis Black did just that on his segment of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, appropriately named Back in Black:



It's not just Beck that is guilty of using such scare tactics to drive the wedge even deeper into the political fabric of our nation, and they are all just tools of the ruling Corporatacracy to keep the sheeple towing the line... But when are we all going to wise up and stop listening to biased and partisan political pundits for our 'facts'? When are we going to wise up and insist that unbiased and unsensationalist journalism become the norm again? Is there really any hope of ever emerging from the rabbit hole, or are we doomed to forever be the puppets of the Ruling Corporate Elite?

What does tourette syndrome have to do with this topic?

I happen to have a loved one with this syndrome, and comparing it to Nazi's and Glen Beck is distasteful and shows a gross lack of thought put into what ever this debate is supposed to be about.

I can't get past the low class usuage and mockery of a medical condition to even begin understanding this post.

What does the thread title and the video have to do with Beck.

You post a video of a comedian denigrating Beck.

How bout posting a video with Beck to make your claims?

I am glad I wasted my time watching 3 second snippets of Beck on a comedy channel.

Is comedy where we get our news from now?

I was going to put this in a different thread and found yours instead... Please take the time to watch this and look into other videos of Glenn Beck speaking of the Wiemar Republic. Unsettling.

Well, it seems that the circling of the wagons has begun already... Everyone knows that political comedy is based on truth... and the fact that Mr. Black could pull up so many references made by Mr. Beck on the theme of the Nazis should show you something. Then look at some of the topics Mr. Beck has linked to the Nazis... The Peace Corps, Global Warming, equating the Banks and Insurance Companies that we bailed out with the rounding up of the Jews... Screaming the word Nazi is inflamatory and insults the memories of the six MILLION Jews who were MURDERED at the hands of the Nazis...

But there is ONE thing in all of this that IS very Nazi like... The rhetoric being espoused by Mr. Beck and his peers on both Fox News and MSNBC... Fearmongering was one of the tactics used by Adolf Hilter and the Nazi Party to control the German People, and now it's being used to control the misinformed masses in America...

The video has to do with historically factually based comedian bit who is comparing Glenn Beck being upset with the comparison of those people in Arizona being compared to Nazis because of their law to enforce people to carry their papers when Glenn Beck has compared numerous multiple organizations and individual actions with the Nazis on many many many occassions.

The title comes from a youtube video based on one line Black states in the monologue "Glenn Beck has Nazi Tourettes", after supplying multiple examples of Glenn Beck comparing organizations like the Peace Corps to Nazi's and even the word "EMPATHY" to Nazis.

Better than FOX with shows like Sean Hannity's who even have their own theme music for Karl Rove

Besides, FOX has on multiple occassions edited things to make a point while taking snippits and partial sentences out of context, which has been PROVEN and DEMONSTRATED multiple times on the Comedy Central's Daily Show.

So, yes, I get my news from the Comedy Channel more so than FOX.
But only because it is less bias!
