I never make a secret of the fact that I love rodents - they're just my 'thing'. Here is an article with incredibly sweet pictures of harvest mice, taken by the photographer over the course of a year:

www.dailymail.co.uk...

Here is a mouse with her baby - see how snug and safe he looks, confident that his Mum will look after him:

I don't know what these are up to, but i've seen baby rats hanging like that off my bird table after they'd shinned up there looking for food

A stunning and rare insight into the secret tiny lives of adorable harvest mice is revealed in incredible pictures captured painstakingly over 12 months.
Photographers Jean-Louis Klein and Marie-Luce Hubert, both from the Alsace, France, spent the year snapping the furry subjects in a project that ended with their release into the wild.
Laying patiently in meadows and reed beds, the pair were able to capture the fascinating images.

I'll post just one more from the very beautiful selection in the article. I seem to remember having a toy something like this when I was a kid
Or perhaps he'd seen the Long Man of Wilmington:

Here is Klein and Hubert's website for more pictures of (mostly) animals:

I think people should see the rest of the pics before judging, for they do, imo, qualify as "adorable."
Thanks for the smile berenike

You know some of these field mice are so docile that you can make pets of them right out of the wild.

Oh they are so cute! I always loved mice

I remember when my cat tried to kill one I got all upset and saved the little mouse from my 15lb kitty. I don't think my cat was too happy since she looked at it as dinner

Thanks for sharing these cute pics of a highly misunderstood little critter

The funny thing is I didn't even notice the cat until after I posted it
I was concentrating on putting the layer mask over the mice and didn't really pay attention to the other side of the image. It was just a happy coincidence that the screen grab I took had that add on it
