Yes u r correct it is an S bend, first there is a sharp left
then there is a sharp right.

However, on this road there is NO sign showing the first
sharp left turn. This is the first sign you see. And it either
needs to add a sharp left turn sign before this one or
it needs just one sign showing the whole S encounter.

I found the whole encounter rather odd which is why
I posted the OP. There is a mistake with the road
signs so it is a bad sign in reality.

The name of the road is Murray Haywood Road
just off of HWY 410 next to Bladenboro NC.
If you do a google map of that road, it only shows
a sharp right turn but in reality, there is a sharp left
turn preceding it.

Maybe whoever ordered those road signs was looking
at google maps instead of actually being onsite to
see what was there.

Yeah, I DID do that! When I drove by I thought I saw it moving and didn't want it to get ran over more, so I went back and poked it to make sure it was dead. I KNOW it's nuts! But I couldn't ignore it.

About the buzzard......I don't know.....if I saw it moving on the road I would probably have to go back and check just as I did with the squirrel.

you guys are so silly. the sign idicates a right turn AFTER the left tun. Notice the sign is at the apex of the left turn? If the camera could zoom out 100yrds I'd bet there is a left arrow too. sheesh
