3200 mexican police FIRED!

Today 3200 mexican police have been fired for incompetance.
One wonders how many others are corrupt cartel stooges....
Indeed this will probably have an accelerating effect on illegal immigration as more mexicans flee north to avoid the cartels violence.

This is a very heavy situation thinks me....thats a lot of even incompetant firepower off the streets....
The total will undoubtably get higher as the investigations of these LEOs goes deeper...
The goverment itself has been accused by many of being allied with the Sinaola cartel....sic
Is there any honest goverment officials down there?

I agree...The thing that had me thinking, almost immediately was what are those fired Mexican feds going to do now?? I doubt they'll sit around waiting for unemployment..

Haven't you heard? The border problem is Americas fault.
I'm sure there are 1500 cartel members waiting to fill the empty positions. After-all, the bigoted Americans need to get our drugs from somewhere.

The problem is it's either take the bribe or risk being killed by investigating the cartel, they really sometimes have no other choice but to help out the cartels.

so what does that say? Mexico would rather there be thousands of less police officers, rather than the thousands they fired?

Im sure the cartel probably will pick up the tab for these guys to stay off the streets by hiring their services...vis a vis the prison guards who were letting hit men out of jail and lending them weapons to go kill people.They then let the hit men back into prison....for a nice tight alibi...
now thats CORRUPTION!

when you make 300 pesos a month and your police chief is corrupt as hell and sends you to investigate an abandoned warehouse 30 miles outside of town the majority of people will take the bribe. mexico is so corrupt because latin americans don't have the same attitude as americans concerning coc aine and marijuana.

What an incredible figure .

They really have left this situation get way out of control .
This could very-well have its own effect i.e 3000+ trained individuals unemployed and available.
They had to do it - maybe even fire more yet...... its just that have left the rot set in so deep, that it is hard to see a way out.

This will get a whole lot worse before it can get better .
Illegal immigrant from the region will be more like refugees fleeing a Civil War.
