Report: 100 Russian skinheads attack concertgoers

MOSCOW – Scores of bare-chested skinheads attacked a crowd of about 3,000 people at a rock concert in central Russia on Sunday, beating them with clubs, media reports said.

Dozens of people were left bloodied and dazed in the attack, television and news agencies reported, and state news channel Rossiya-24 said a 14-year-old girl was killed at the concert in Miass, 900 miles (1,400 kilometers) east of Moscow.

Fourteen ambulances were called to the scene, the channel said, citing witness accounts. The motive for the attack was not known, and authorities couldn't be reached for comment.

Neo-nazism is becoming a global plague. Say whatever you want about the political and economic principles and ideals of Neo-nazism, it is nothing more than veiled racism. Any belief to the contrary is simply misinformed.

Scare tactics, bigotry, fear mongering, and violence are the tactics being employed by these clowns.

The thing I particularly love about skinheads is that you NEVER EVER hear about a skinhead having the testicular fortitude to take somebody on one-on-one...they always seem to gang up.

There's a video online where they 2 Russian skinheads take 2 very light skinned dark people and take about 10 minutes to cut one's head off so they just shoot the last one.

Since then I take all these stories seriously, these people do not want fame or infamy, they do this because they believe it's right.

What breeds this kind of hate? It is unbelievable and inconcevable to me that a person could randomly beat and kill others for hate.

I remember a long time ago on the Jerry Springer show ( this is the only time I will ever reference that show) there were skinheads on there that said some of the most vile things, to know that there are people in the communities here and globally that truly get raised to think this way is absurd, but true. Hate breeds hate.

Yeah, in a way. Just as in religious extremism, national-socialism (or fascism, not much difference here) makes undereducated idiots into fanatical crusaders who just kill and desecrate other people's lives for some sort of deluded idea of "justice".

But there are are people who fight these fascists, especially in and around Moscow. But there are never enough... and these neo-nazi cowards will strike the weakest and less suspicious all the time, while enjoying some protection from the Police.

Yes I think I have seen that vid and other more disturbing ones were they stab and mutilate the victim after they kill him. This type of animals must be put down, they are a version between a cereal killer and tyrant. Tptb also use them as assassins in russia they come cheap only have to give them a story and some cash and point them in the right direction. And since they are not very good capitalists they will kill a billionare for 1,000 dollars, But most of that is politics and business, so they get what they deserve on both sides of the social class fence. I could probably find the beheading and killing vids they put online for show....But this is a family site......BUT ya be aware there are some sick individuals out there and they dont look that different from the average bloke. These skin heads though who atacked the concert goers and even killed a girl should get the most severe punishment they have.

Nowhere in the article were they claimed to be Neo-Nazi's. They were refferred to as skinheads. I'm not saying they weren't Nazi's, to me they aren't until more proof is established.

I have not always felt this way, but lately, seriously believe this is the next outbreak of violence here in the US.

What can you expect from Russians as they learned their cruelty from Mongol-Tatar Khans. Their Emperors were inhuman slaughtering everyone they didn't everyone who didn't bow before them to the ground.

Their warfare was too really disturbing. Two times they almost killed all my ancestor's nation. Muscovites pillaged great city of Novgorod which was the richest and most advanced city in Russia at that time. They drowned people in river and who didn't drown those they stabbed with spears and pikes. They went through lands not to conquer but to kill, destroy and torture people in inhuman ways. Ivan IV even got a nickname "Ivan the Terrible". And then comes Stalin.

And then Imperialism comes in picture. Russians are full of pride of their big and almighty country Mother Russia. So no wonder is a group of people shows up that have read history. So these skinheads - they learn about cruelty of their great leaders without which Russia wouldn't have existed so big and so powerful. They feel superior than other people. They want to be like Stalin was, like Ivan the Terrible was - gruesome and merciless. They look down upon people that doesn't look Russian who are not Russian.

They call themselves "democratic anti-fascist movement". But guess what from their viewpoint everyone is a fascist. Well except Russians and Chinese. They are pretty much like Hitler-jugent. They are pretty radical and sometimes they beat up people just like skinheads.

Well in a country where such movements exist with nation's and government's support. Smaller movements with similar but more radical ways of action are emerging.

That's my point of view.

There was 3000 patrons there and 100 guys attack them. Tell me again why the only casualy is a concert goer and only 15 were captured? They should've just responded with equal amount of force and taken them all in custody untill police arrives.

The skinheads had clubs and other weapons. You expect concert goers to attack them with what - plastic beer cups?
Many of those injured probably were trying to fight back. I can't imagine them all running away like sheep. Not Russians anyway. they're pretty tough people at any age.
I agree that most skinheads are hardcore nationalists, however their view of nationalism is pretty damn twisted. They tend to identify nationalism with racism and anyone outside of their race BEWARE.

Not to disagree with you - I wish they had kicked the crap out of every skinhead. If 100 of them ended badly injured I think it might make other skinheads think again before attacking people.

Yeah maybe that was just it, weapons and a surprise attack. My thought was that if there is 3000 people there changes are that the ones closest to the attackers wont get away. Too big of a crowd. I would imagine that would turn the running sheeple crowd into a wolf crowd that would just stop them dead on their tracks. Of course that would only work if they'd all join in on it and to get people to go against armed opponents without any themselves is pretty difficult. It's easy to think the situation differently when you're a world away behind a keyboard.
Well whatever happened it was wrong and one can only hope that next time the crowd can fight them off without casualties. That might disencourage any further assaults of such kind.

What was the concert ??? Some kind 'Creed' or Boy band sillyness.... if so then good on them lol

There is no way you could have this happen at a Slayer or ST gig..... fans would go ape and string up the skinheads lol.....
