or should i say, how has understanding all the conspiracies,
the new world order, the police corruption and brutality, the bought and paid for government etc. affected your life?
is there anything in particular that you truly believe is directed at you personally?
has any government agency picked you out of the blue in order to keep an eye you?
seems everybody i know is a bit worried about somebody cracking down on them, including myself.
from the i.r.s to the muslims.
i think we all understand the push of 'big brother' to control our lives.
cameras everywhere, body scanners, do you avoid flying, or look around before blowing that stop sign?
in what way's have you changed your usual routine in order to avoid something like surveilance?
for those with a chip in your brain, being tracked by satellite, here;s your chance.

LOL!

In reality I wouldn't begin to qualify as paranoid. Even if I were to say something controversial or political divisive, which I occasionally do, I think it would be exceptionally meglomaniacal to assume that anyone in power would notice or care. There's just too much going on in regard to the Internet to assume that everybody with an opinion is somehow under surveillance or scrutiny.

In short, I ATS a lot these days and haven't once looked out of my window for any black helicopters or unmarked vehicles. And even if they were there I wouldn't think twice about it.

Maybe my notions are right, or maybe they are wrong. Either way dwelling or worrying won't change it anyway, so cest la vie!

ETA: I got ATS specific and forgot to add that this mindset applies to all other aspects of life as well.

i know how to ask better questions, and seek alternative mediums of information.

is there anything in particular that you truly believe is directed at you personally?

yes, more laws than i will learn within one life time. thank you for your participation in a system that expects me to (mandatory) conform to more mandatory expectations than i can live long enough to even learn the number of. how many laws are there?

has any government agency picked you out of the blue in order to keep an eye you?

yes, a government agency (more than one) has picked me out of the blue (usaf) in order to keep an eye (or more than an eye) on me. i still have to phone the wounded warrior program once a week to "check in", even though i have been retired for well over a year now.

cameras everywhere, body scanners, do you avoid flying, or look around before blowing that stop sign?

i see (write in notepad) you admit you blow stop signs.

in what way's have you changed your usual routine in order to avoid something like surveilance?

avoid surveilance? for starters i blog on the internets' number one conspiracy site thinking no authority from "big brother" monitors it.
eh, i mean. ... surely not. ... it's not like they pay people to do such things, ...right ???

for those with a chip in your brain, being tracked by satellite, here;s your chance.

no chip in my brain ... maybe micro-nanotech ... and other random thoughts i'm not typing right now .... until after the event.

i don't know don't know a guy who does not know a guy who doesn't know what this sentence is about.

you are good people, and if anyone tells you any differently they are a better liar than i am.

try to have a thought, or at least try to think about it,

oh, by the way, i never blow stop signs, looking like i do i'll admit to a bit of paranoia about police. i get pulled over about once or twice a year for some b.s, and 90% of the time they want to search me.
sure, i look in the mirror to see if any cops are there. i also usually watch them when they pass in the opposite direction to make sure they don't pull a u-bolt.

I am forced to pay taxes to a corrupt and greedy spending machine that does not have my or my families best interest in mind.
I was hounded by mail, phone and visitation during the last census until I finally gave one taker a few minutes and vague answers, against my desire to do so in the first place.
Where I live the police like to play mind games to trick drivers into exceeding speed limits or swerving by racing up on them with bright headlights and overhead spotlights blazing.
I work 10-15 hours per day at least 3 days a week, but never less than 8 per day every day of the week, just so I can pay an ever growing electric bill by a company with a monopoly on the energy provided.
I have to caution myself when speaking or texting because even a single word that falls into a category deemed dangerous can earn you a visit from a member of an alphabet agency.
I have to walk in my socks along the same floor that thousands of other sockied sweaty feet have trod, just so that I can board an airplane.

I dont say bomb on an airplane, but I still fly when I must.
I dont talk back to police officers because a tickets is better than a tazer and cell.
I work because I must, but have chosen at least to work in a field that I do not detest.

All in all, I think I should be more paranoid than I am, but mostly am just too tired to think about it most days.

I wouldn't say I'm paranoid, but I have made some changes.
I started storing non-perishable food a few months ago. Not spending a fortune, but I'm double bagging dry goods in zip-locks so they'll store longer.
Some friends have a farm a couple of hrs from here that's several thousand feet higher in elevation. We're stocking that up with non-perishables as well. The property has two wells, and we've procured a deep hand pump for one of them.
I'm learning to ride a horse. I don't actually own one, but I let someone else keep some on my property, so they're available if I need them.
I'm also educating myself about solar power, and plan to have my own well pump and water heater converted before spring. It's not too expensive if you by cells and build your own panels.
I'm buying supplements in larger quantities, and have about 5 yrs worth of TRUE colloidal silver on hand. I've been taking it for nine years and I NEVER get a cold or flu. I haven't turned blue yet either, because true colloidal silver doesn't really do that.
Oh, and I'm doubling up on firewood for the winter... not sure if that counts, but last year we ran out and had to use space heaters.

forgot to add... I'm seeing a lot more military vehicles than ever this year, and there's no military installation around here.
I think there's a FEMA shelter being built nearby, is that paranoid? There are a lot more semi trucks going by these days, most of which are covered, so you can't see what they're hauling. But I've seen at least 30 trucks so far carrying these really huge exhaust fans that take up the whole truck bed and are taller that my house. And the trains are a lot busier in that direction as well. I work fast food drive thru, and I frequently have to ask customers to hold until the train shuts up. That NEVER happened until this year. There's no town in that direction, just land and roads.
Plus, someone said it's something the Army Corps of Engineering is putting in, and I read somewhere on ATS (or an ATS link) that the ACOE is advertising for "internment specialist".
OK... so maybe I am a little paranoid.

I don't get paranoid until something happens - like in my neighborhood tonight. I looked out and maybe 10 people were running down the middle of the street - they ended up 3 doors down where I saw maybe 15 more people. Some were watching, others were angry and cussing each other and then the cops showed up - looked like one guy was out of control and they took him away. They told people to go home and the crowd broke up. So yea I was a little paranoid - on a scale of 1 - 10 I was about a 3. But I don't just sit around and fear stuff.

i was not directing that response at you, it was commentary about myself. i was inferring that i have learned to ask better questions since joining ATS and wallowing in the beautiful sea of the paranoid.

Well when most of my paranoid suspicions were proven true, I decided to take measure into my own hands, as to not ignore the obvious.

I no longer eat fast food. (due to silly putty concerns
)

I bought a water filtration system. (due to fluoride.. and yes they have some for fluoride).

I am careful of what I watch and listen to. (As subliminal messaging is running rampant these days).

And the most important, I am more careful in listening to, or associating myself with the ignorant, or knowledgeably challenged.

Peace.
