Swedish prosecutor resurrects Wikileaks sex case

www.abc.net.au

A Swedish prosecutor says she has enough evidence to continue investigating a molestation allegation against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, days after deciding not to open a rape probe against him.

"The suspicion against him remains," chief prosecutor Eva Finne said following days of deliberation.

Swedish prosecutors on Friday night issued an arrest warrant for Assange over an allegation of rape, but Ms Finne abruptly withdrew it on Saturday, saying new information had come to light.

They're so dumb, they put out rape and molestation charge in an attempt to discredit him, they've dropped the rape charge, and now its just molestation, but has the damage been done? - what I think is, the CIA has spoken to a prostitute he may or may not of visited during is constant travels, threw a few wads of cash at her and told her what she is to do.

Its totally bogus.

Thoughts?

I'm not overly paranoid; I don't see patterns in everything. I have to admit, tho, this entire thing looks like a smear campaign to me.

My thoughts are...I agree with what you are saying, more or less.

Though as a plan to discredit Assange, it is being handled very poorly.

Me too.

It's almost like they just want to keep this in the news, ...

They probably figure the more they keep it in the news, the more people will hear about it and MAYBE just think of him as a criminal, somebody not to trust, then people will not believe the "LEAKS" that are on his website as much and him and his website will just fade into oblivion.

Agree with you there.

Who knows, maybe it's a new "operative" that's in charge of it.

Everybody's got to start somewhere.

It looks like they pressed charges and then I read a thread wikileaks gave the US the passwords to the documents and the charges where dropped.

Now they release this new cia documents, and the charges are laid again.

Pretty much predicatable. And so transparent.

I think the governments just want everyone to hate this guy, they realized that just putting out sensitive information isn't enough to enrage the general population. So they say he's a rapist (molester.. whatever!)

I'll keep the pitchfork in the shed for now.

Your probably right, and then used that as a way to get leverage on him. The prosecutor dropped the charges of rape but didn't say what the reason was.

So as a responsible parent you ask your teenage daughter where she plans to surf on the internet tonight She tells you she is going to Wikileaks to learn the CIA's deepest secrets, the truth about 911 and read an expose of the Afghan war.

You say fine, please try not to be up too late.

Maybe these spurious charges and headlines are just meant as a awareness campaign for WL? There are vulnerable readers who's parents need to know the site deals with controversial issues. Its sort of like putting all the porn under a .XXX domain so those that are not looking for it don't find it by accident but those that are know where to look. The CIA news should draw lots of frohike types in for a read!

It takes time to orchestrate evidence against someone...

I don't believe this is true in the least...a rapist does not fight the powers that be by threatening to release classified documents...the powers that be use dissociative connotation in the media to fight someone who wants to release classified information.

Period...end of story.

And what do I get from this? That there is some high powered communications over national boundaries that make national laws look like nursery rhymes for those in power...

Maybe he did just what they said, maybe not. Men are accused all the time of rape. To automatically assume the CIA is involved is as bad as automatically assuming he is guilty. Personally I wouldn't be surprised if he is guilty. He's an arrogant ass who thinks he has all the answers.

My take on this is that CHOAS is not being achieved fast enough!!!! He works for the intelligence services and they want more CHOAS. Keeping him in the press makes people take note of what he is doing! so when he releases more info they will think he is fighting back and give him some credibility.

The whole "I am out of money nonsense" was to raise public awareness. This is reverse smearing to raise his profile!

The info being released is REAL, but it is MANAGED for maximum effect. Problem TPTB have is that they have done such a good deal in dumbing down the masses that they are no longer interested! The economy will collpase and until such time as the shops are empty no one will give a sh*t!

If you want CHAOS then close Wallmart, Target and 7/11, Dunking Doughnuts, Mc D's, Burger King and the place will erupt.

Nuke Iran, destroy the GoM, off shore all the manufacturing jobs, destroy the agriculture base which no longer supplies food to the US and the people will............................................................ watch more pop idol!

What a darn mess the swedish prosecutor, paid CIA shill, had made!!!

By all means, let justice be truly served. If Julian is guilty, then press charges. He had not evaded and even made himself avaliable to police to assist in investigation if necessary.

If the swedish court finds him guilty, then charge him accordingly. No man is above the law, of any land. If not guilty, then free him and exonerate him of any crime.

But this drama played up by the paid prosecutor CIA plant will land her and her nation into deeper sh%t then she will ever realizes, or want to realize.

If the charges are successful, or even if it is just a smear, EVERY swedish male is now questioning the validity of such laws enacted by their legislatives, because many males will be in one way or another be and should be called up for investigations, after that saturday nite out with the boys in the pub. Any gal can now file that charge to get even, if she had been ignored all nite.

And that will rebound upon the families, and up to their parliamentary representives. IF the swedish legislatives are willing to be cruxified for helping the CIA, a rouge agency today, for smearing Julian, then go ahead. These representatives can forget about their hopes and dreams for themselves and their people, if they think it is worth it.

And hope that they will remember that when the CIA gets made accountable by the revelations of the wikileaks, and the booting out of puppets in Nov by an incensed american public, all the beans get spilt out, these parliamentarians too will be further implicated. They will be finally revealed as traitors of their own nation, for selling out justice to foriegn interests, and will be spat upon for generations.

May they awaken to truth and reality.

Am really glad you posted that. The charge apparently has no sexual connotation now at all, and falls into the realms of 'assault' which could be anything really.

Translation of the charge here:

Edit to say: Wikileaks is down at the moment. Does anyone know about the stuff they have released today? Wonder if it has anything to do with it?

Sorry if I'm repeating myself as I said this on another couple of threads and my ATS etiquette needs to be refined. But just to say, the outcry today is over stuff leaked in 2009 regarding a paedophile in Belguim. The Belgians have reported it only today. I don't know why, since it was leaked ages ago. Maybe they just noticed it was there now? Who knows?

Seems a bit strange though.

Anyway, here's a link to the story about it

I still can't get onto the site either.

You might consider looking at the available information before you start mouthing off. The case was dropped by a low ranking official and reinstated after being reviewed by a senior official. Whether you think it is part of the vast right wing, jewish international conspiracy or not or think he is guilty or not stop forming baseless opinions out what you want to believe.
