The problem with this index is it's mainly geared towards military spending, power and involvement in conflicts, so most big countries tend to be lower down on the list.

Of the 15 most populous countries in the world, only Japan, Germany and Vietnam make the top 50; both Japan and Germany both have statutory limitations on their military spending and involvement after World War II, which is bound to give them an inaccurately high ranking.

It's clear that small countries like New Zealand, Iceland, Luxembourg, Finland, Slovenia and the like, will rank highly, because they are not going to get marked down for factors such as: weapons imports/exports, military capabilities, number of conflicts fought, armed service personnel etc.

The post just want to promote Nation Master instead of some copy paste website for reference. The website exist solely to provide analysis of countries, which fits the OP post.
You cant win it all you know, being top 20 in everything is a very bad thing.

NZ is very nice country, a bit cold but have the most beautiful scenic nonetheless, its politically stable without too much problems arise, economy is booming with the exports and life is super easy there. If you want peace of mind, New Zealand is it!
