It is kind of astounding that Americans would just accept the media blackout and say "oh well".

That just doesn't sound American to me. What has happened to you all? If ever there was a time for a little civil disobedience, that was it.

You should have gotten together about a hundred private planes and flew them in formation over the spill area -- taking pictures and videos all the while. Something, anything to bring public attention to this travesty.

This is the sort of thing we used criticize Soviet block countries for. Now you are doing it yourselves, and barely a whimper of protest.

How the world has changed.

Feds finally admit oil buried “14 inches under the sand” near Destin, Florida




EPA officials “were on Walton County’s Beaches this week digging holes and finding oil product as deep as 14 inches under the sand.”

this is the same area where families have been enjoying their end of summer vacations and eating sea food because the current administration made a point of telling them it is safe.

Sometimes it is less painful to believe the unbelieveable than to walk the road less traveled and stand alone with your convictions.
