I noticed this on some posters that they have bronze status and they don't have the requirements to have it. Now all of a sudden I have that to. I don't even have 300 flags.
Yet my contribution level status is bronze.

What gives?

You have the BRONZE: (exception)
Members with more than 2,000 posts, but less than the other levels for bronze receive the "BRONZE" tag, but still see ads.
