Israel is terrified that their true history will become well known Netanyahu has just sealed the archives for another 20 years. They do not want you to know that they destoryed 356 villages killing many of the inhabitants, men women and children. They don't want you to know the ethnic cleansing of Palestine was planned. They particularly do not want Israeli citizens to know what they did . The period of time for which documents will now remain classified include such events as the 1954 Lavon Affair, the 1956 Sinai invasion, and the 1967 war which saw the heinous attack on the USS Liberty and the seizure of the Golan Heights.

See this is what I don't understand and I hope you understand;

It would seem logical that the general populace by now should KNOW individuals with power are corrupted and go insane when they can't handle it...what I don't understand is, why do we all act like they might just turn around and save the day?

Why don't a couple million people just start marching towards these corrupt people? Or something...

Well, the fact is most Americans simply don't know whats going on in the world. I believe the internet is now educating them. Perhaps one day they will scream, ENOUGH!

In light of the fact they describe themselves as the smartest people on the planet, I'm truly astonished they've never heard of even teh concept of horses and stable gates

Hilarious, aren't they ? Libraries and bookshelves the world over freely reveal and discuss their atrocities, complete with film and photos. What next --- Mossad raids on people's home-libraries and new laws threatening to drag people to the Hague and off to jail for the heinous crime of believing in Israel's heinous crimes ?

You know what -- I just wish I'd been taught at school that zionists and israelis rule the world with their contradictory, arbitrary and ridiculous 'laws'. Would have made life a lot simpler, knowing all I was allowed to do, lifelong, was to obey them and watch porn and believe the garbage spewed by the whore-media

Maybe Emanuel and Obama should implement such laws now, so that future generations won't resent being told what to believe and what not to believe by a bunch of characters who've spent the past 60-odd years stealing chunks of the Middle East and putting the rightful inhabitants to the sword whilst denying they're doing it

Who the hell needs eyes, then ? Israel presumes to tell us we are not permitted to believe the evidence of our own eyes. Gee, that's going to put a lot of optomestrists out of work. Maybe Israel will pay them compensation from the billions provided Israel every few weeks by cash-strapped American taxpayers

What a world ! God --- you are one hell of a comedian

You hit the nail on the head.

I think that it is time we all became Zionist supporters and opelny shouted this from the rooftops.

After all, many here on ATS have remained silent for so long, and many still support Isreals brutal oppression of human beings and truth.

Sad but true.

Came back to star you and flag the thread

and yes, you're right. .02 of the world's population has so much blackmail material on our corrupt 'world leaders', that the .02 manages to silence over 6 million individuals - except a handful who won't and can't be bluffed

The reason ATS members don't say much is because it's a taboo topic on most forums, with most forums controlled if not owned and 'moderated' by members of the .02 percent

However --- what people THINK, in the privacy of their own brain and what they DISCUSS offline --- is an entirely different thing

Every country worldwide has their little dirty secrets.

Another poster here mentions Israel's "ethnic cleaning" of "Palestinians", then I could say the same of the Spanish and colonial empires that did the same with the Native Americans, the British Empire to the Australian Aboriginals, the Germans against German Jews (and many of their own folk), the Ottomans of the Armenians.....then there's African nations blah blah blah. And thats not to mention racial wars in Europe in more ancient times.

So what?

because they need a leader to unite them, otherwise they march 1 million people, one person at a time, which can easily be defended. But if they unite together, they can have a bigger effect. However, they need a leader, a leader with wide influences and loyalty. Since good leaders are hard to find, corrupt leaders are more readily available, willing to make promises they can not keep because they know people will be hooked to it. A good leader can only make promises he knows he can fulfill, which is why leadership is by its very nature a challenging task.

What do you mean, so what? The "He did this 200 years ago so why can't I do it today" argument is silly. We advance as a civilization, create new rules to live by, learn how to get along and hopefully build a better future for all our children.

Ethnic cleansing? How many jews do you think serve in the PA parliament? How many arabs are in the knesset? 14 at last count. There have been arab knesset members since the first elections in 1949.

Is Israel the only nation in the world where they can't have a right to defend themselves?

So many on these boards are pretty darn quick to judge Israel but are short of a quid when it comes to their own nation's "dirty deeds".

You think I'm happy to see our forces invade other lands? I just want our men and women to do what they need to do and come back home alive, preferably in one piece.
