Lucas is definitely an insider. His special effects studio (Lucas Light and Industrial Magic?) is HQ'd at the Presidio Army Base in San Francisco... Why? He's working on Project Bluebeam. (Luke= Lucifer? Death Star= Nibiru in 2012? Skywalker is the name of a Mayan calendar cycle. www.bibliotecapleyades.net...

No, Lucas was just telling a story, a so so story at that.
ATTENTION TEENS!
Star Wars, The Matrix, ETC are Movies! Movies! Made to make money, not philosophical statements! Fiction!
As significant as a Swiffer commercial!
Good grief........!

This has got to be the dumbest thing I've ever read on ATS. Have you ever watched these movies? To say Lucas wasn't making a philosophical statement is just moronic. It's what the whole thing is about. It's why the films have such a huge impact on so many people. Plenty of movies have flashy special effects, but they aren't as popular as Star Wars. The reason Star Wars is so popular is because of it's themes and it's messages.

Having said that, if the OP is suggesting that the prequals are specificaly about 911 I'd say that's not even possible as episode one came out before those events took place. Also "NWO" is rather vauge and kind of a catch all phrase IMO. Lucas was definately warning us about what could happen and what is possible, this is common in most good sci-fi, but I think to suggest he was aiming the films at a specific group of people isn't accurate. Plus even if Lucas belives in the NWO I think he is too smart to name names or get into specifics... to do that would undermine the points he was making.

The Ewoks didn't defeat the Empire. It was Anakin Skywalker A.K.A. Darth Vader that did that.

The original source which Lucas studied and drew inspiration from was comparative mythology. Have any of you read the book that Lucas did? Have you read it WWu777? The Hero with a Thousand Faces? I have. I mean, if you guys want to theorize then you should read it first. Just sayin'.

So Lucas recycles old samurai movies, sometimes shot for freaking shot, and this is supposed to be some hidden genius way of enlightening someone to some super secret? Then I guess the film makers Lucas so blatantly ripped off were not only more in the know but also apparently time travelers.

What about Star Trek?

After I saw the Freemason insignia, I noticed that the StarFleet insignia looks like the top half of the Mason symbol. And Spock's V hand sign looks like the bottom half of the Mason symbol.

Wow.

Was its creator a Freemason too?

Winston, I think you are at risk of paranoia. 'The Muses' are responsible, not the individual artists. The artist, in this case Roddenberry or Lucas, need not even know what he is doing. The artist is just along for the ride - that's how inspiration and synchronicity work. Secret knowledge from a secret society is not necessary - synchronicity and psi can explain it all just fine.

Why do sci fi movies ALWAYS show a bleak future in which either:

1) Humans have been wiped out in a nuclear holocaust, and only a few have survived and struggle for life.

and/or

2) Humans have become slaves to an evil government and turned into robots and zombies?

Why do they never show an optimistic happy future for mankind?

Is there an agenda?

Could it be that subconsciously, we all know about conspiracies, and so they have to control what's in our subconscious by putting it in movies to make our conscious minds think it is all fiction?

[edit on 1-8-2010 by WWu777]

Btw, we are always given a bleak picture of the future in movies. Yet we are also told that we must be optimistic and positive at the same time?

Another example of Orwellian double think?

Not quite, but close...

Hollywood is always letting hints out about how things really are, it's very interesting where they get their information and George Lucas is no exception!

From what I have heard from various sources, Star Wars is close to being a documentary, you could say, of a series of wars that took place in the Orion Star System. I've spoken to people who remember past lives from this era and the extent to which freedom was subjugated far exceeds today's standards.

This may seem outlandish, but in your heart-center you will know this is true.

A long time ago... In a galaxy far, far, away...

Peace, Love, and Light

P.S. One of my sources is Our Journey and the Grand Deception video series.. definitely worth checking out if you think your ready for a broader perspective.

Lucas had to operate completely independent of Hollywood in order to tell the story in the prequels. I don't think he would have been permitted to tell it under any other circumstance.

In my reading experience I have found more often than not nonfiction like biographies are filled with propaganda and lies while fiction contain much predictive programming and hidden in plain sight truth.

I was reading in Popular Science about a genetic database in the UK with a refrigerated wherehouse of human blood, saliva, and other samples and a discussion of apo4e alleles and alzheimers.

We know the Georgiaguidestones call for eugenics. Therefore I could see the warning in Gattaca right in front of my eyes. How long before the NWO says who can have kids or what kind of job you are allowed to have?

Probably. I guess you already know that the astronauts on the NASA missions to the moon were Freemasons (www.freemasonry.bcy.ca...).

I think these links has some good information actually. They show how some of the most influential people in the world have been and are Freemasons. And people say its just a coincidence.

Have you guys also seen this Star Trek original series episode that explained how the NWO worked? It's called "Day of the Dove". Here is a parody of it on YouTube called "9/11 Lessons from Star Trek":

Also, check out this episode from the TV series Logan's Run called "Fear Factor". It is so chillingly accurate in it's depiction of how our society is run by dumbing people down into slaves and robots! My God. It even mentions an "inner circle" where you get to know the whole purpose of the whole operation if you get into it. There is no question that the writers of this episode intended this "inner circle" to mean the shadow elite/secret societies that run our society. It's very obvious. Terms like "inner circle" are not accidental.

Why didn't anyone notice what the writers were telling us, just like they did in the movie "They Live"?

Here is the episode on YouTube. Watch how accurate it is about our society!

Either the creator of the video read waaaay too far into a movie, or is actually quite insightful. I'm honestly not sure which.

There's a fine line between genius and insanity. A genius makes connections that few people see, but are present; an irrational person makes connections that few people see, and are not present.

William Cooper (RIP) seemed to believe that certain movies including the original 'Star Wars' was indeed an attack on the American people. So the Prequels probably continue this theme.

The propaganda attack against the American People continues through movies. In Star Wars Luke Skywalker (Apollo, Horus, Osiris), the SON of a widow (initiate) goes in search of himself (Secret, lost Word, or Great Work). Jedi Knight Darth Vader (Osiris, Sun Father, Apollo, Doctrine, Lucifer, Master of the FORCE [magic] who has gone over to the Darkside (religion, nationalism, superstition) separates the Princess (the title signifies BECOMING) Lea (Isis - Moon - Church) from the Doctrine (illumination).

Luke falls in love with Lea and begins a sexless, but spiritual relationship with the Princess. This mystical union produces the child HORUS (falcon headed God) which, in the movie, is personified in the illumination of Luke transforming him into an Adept or Priest (Jedi Knight - Sun Son - Adept - Reincarnated Osiris - Apollo - God - Doctrine). He embarks upon a Quest in the Millenium (saviors always return at the millenium) Falcon (Horus as savior) to rescue Princess Lea which results in a confrontation with Vader who imparts knowledge (Intelligence - Fire) resulting in Luke finding the Holy Grail (Bloodline, Identity, Lost Word, Obelisk, Penis, Creative Force, apotheosis). With this knowledge he succeeds in reuniting (uniting in marriage) the Force (doctrine) with Princess Lea (Church) which reestablishes the Order of Jedi Knights (Congregation - full body of Adepts or Priests - sixth root race - evolved and matured mankind - God Race, Horus) producing chaos, rebellion, and the establishment of the New Dawn on the horizon (Horus Risen), the New Age, the New Atlantis, a New World Order, the socialist utopian world.

I agree with a few posters. I don't think he was whistleblowing about the NWO. But it is possible for one single man to change the world like emperor palpatine did. People I know believe what he might of represented how the anti-christ could take over the earth with cloning available now.

Good list. Yes, some of the astronauts were Masons. We've even got a lodge chartered on the moon...

I think these links has some good information actually. They show how some of the most influential people in the world have been and are Freemasons. And people say its just a coincidence.

www.illuminati-news.com...
This list is mostly correct. There are a couple of names of people who weren't Masons, or who's membership is still under debate; and some of the attributions are simply false. But coming from a website called "illuminati news", it's not as bad as it could be...

www.biblebelievers.org.au...
This link, however, has no credibility whatsoever. Kleinknecht never worked for NASA. He was a career Mason, and an accountant. Not the head of a space agency.

Well the Star Wars prequels did depicdt big government (The republic) ostensibly fighting big business (CIS/Trade Federation) with the Jedi finding out only too late that both sides had the same leader and were colluding to create a galaxy-spanning dictatorship.

Of course, the most likely explanation was that Lucas was touching on themes that have been known to the populace for 4000 years. The ideas expressed in movies like star wars and the matrix only seem new due to the dumbing down of our culture.

The OP asks how George Lucas could know about grand conspiracy theories.

The answer is simple: G.L. reads history books.

History is FILLED to the rim with conspiracies, plots, revolutions. Shakespeare's plays (although fiction) are filled with back stabbing, deception, even within families.

The modern conspiracy theory isn't a new invention, and neither are the real conspiracies they reveal.

Obviously you haven't seen the spin off of the X-Files called the Lone Gunmen have you OldDragger because it aired about two or three weeks before the world trade center was hit by a plane and in the plot the bad guys were gonna fly a airplane into the world trade center.....

So before someone says there just movies or tv shows i'd rethink that.
