Killer Venables Could Get £250K New Identity

James Bulger's killer Jon Venables will be given another new identity at a cost of £250,000 to the taxpayer, according to reports.

John Venable to be given a new identity after downloading child pornography when he serves his two year jail sentence. I think this is just shows the soft side of UK law these days. He should never of been released from his murder of James Bulger, the sad thing is he got protected in jail, which i think is wrong we should of let him face the the prison criminals who have still feelings for children and understand that mudering children is sick. Franky he should of been beaten every day in this jail sentence.

I also find it so frustrating that he gets protected after being released, he should have his picture and real name and place of residence known to everyone in public for there safety and for the mothers and fathers who would love to get there hands on him, for his crimes. Maybe one day his identity will become public knowleadge and he will get whats coming to him.

My questions for you guys.. Should this man be let out from the first time he was in jail for killing James Bulger with Robert Thompson ? Should Criminal be protected after serving jail time ?

what gets me,is that i would have thought the terms of his licence would mean he would go back to prison for the remainder of his sentence ?.

this piece of filth does not desrve protecting.has nobody ever aked the reason why they got special treastment in the first place ?.

None of these 2 evil monsters should have ever been allowed to see the light of day again. Giving them new identity's is beyond the beyonds, why should anyone care what happens to them if the public got hold of them, its nothing less than they deserve after what they put that poor little boy through, the fact they were kids themselves when they done it makes it worse, evil like that should be wiped of the face of the earth, simple. How do you think the family feel knowing that the 2 monsters that took their little boy away are being protected?, it makes me sick to even think about it and I will never forget james dad saying if he ever claps eyes on them he will kill them and who can blame him.

250k to protect a monster? I'd rather lock him away with with only water and bread for the rest of his worthless life.

Just think what any single school could do with a surprise bonus of £250,000 in the budget

Seriously why don't they quietly let the word out and drop his 24 hour security (gawd knows how much even that costs) - then he can get raped and murdered, then all that remains is to collect the remains, place them in the incinerator and be done.

Despite the fact that this pervert should never have seen the light of day again, when he did reoffend,he should have been stripped of the priviledged lifestyle that he has been allowed to live,and left to fend for himself upon any future release!
Being a parent and a taxpayer,i find it highly offensive that i should have to pay a single penny towards this scumbags upkeep,and i am sure many of you feel the same!

Typically, in the USA, child molesters & people convicted of child-porn have to register with State authorities and they're tracked. In one State (MD), they force sexual predators to hang a special symbol above their door at Halloween so that parents/kids know to avoid that particular house.

Sorry to hear the UK has gone that wimpy...hope it gets better.

Not a chance should Jon Venables ever have been let out of prison, as one the posters on this thread has said already, he should, with Robert Thompson rot in prison until the day they die, but we have let the liberal left run this country and they want to get evil scum like these two, another change. What second chance did young James Bulger get?

And why should criminals be any difference from the rest of us. And why only two years for the second offence. It begs the question what we keep scum like this alive and stealing money from us taxpayers.

Hanging is too good for Jon Venables.
