I think this guy is recovering from a serious emotional trauma and managed to release some of the pain by experiencing this double rainbow.

I'm being entirely serious.

Another you might be interested in; at Yosemite Falls, under a strong moon, there is a rainbow from the mist, at night. A 'moon-bow' if you will.

I've just been reading up on rainbows, and that one is definitely a beauty. My view of it was slightly obstructed by tears of laughter. Will mute it before I have another look. Such a cool phenomenon.

Its always nice seeing things like this. I used have a lot of fun watching the intense lightning storms in the east. Good stuff.

In a way I kind of envy this guy. He is so happy and intrigued by that rainbow that he bursts into laughter and tears. I wish their were something that would make me feel that kind of emotion. Maybe if an alien spaceship were to land in my yard and escort me to the constellation sagittarius to listen to the radio I might get near that level of emotion. But most likely not.

Yeah I think it was some kind of combination of euphoria and sarcasm lol. I've caught myself doing the same thing though not as extreme.

Three things:

1) What is he on, is it legal, and can it be purchased online?

We see double rainbows all the time here in New zealand, it is nothing special. Maybe they are a rarity in the USA, else the bloke was tripping out on something.

Really? I thought that was impossible, as it is only visible opposite the sun and its location is dependent on your point of view. As you move, the rainbow moves. You shouldn't be able to ever reach the end of a rainbow.

People, maybe rainbows have a sentimental value to him.

I know my mother cherishes them.
The reason is because when her mother died in the hospital, we saw a beautiful rainbow, arcing over the hospital.
Fastfoward to her wake, wouldn't ya know it, a rainbow arcing over the funeral home.
and again and her actual funeral and afterwards arcing over our house.

If my mom saw a double rainbow, i'm 100% positive she would weep.
I don't know, maybe it triggered a memory or something and he just went off on a fit.

Either/or, it's a beautiful sight.

Oh and maybe he's gay, and is very very proud.
