Global Consciousness Project Peaks Again

Hey guys, I happened upon a thread a few days ago about the Global Consciouness Project peaking, so I visited the website. Apparently, I never closed the website, because when I checked on my computer today, it was still open.

To my surprise, there has been an even longer, more intense peak today (July 18th). Didn't some people say something about today being an important day in global consciousness?

Our own government

Another "isolated" incident of muslim terrorism.

Even Cuba and Fidel Castro have been more in the news lately.

The U.S dollar and the Euro are in trouble.

There are a lot of people looking for a job. Many people are getting desperate for money. Even in my own home town of just a few thousand people we have had two murders in the last month, which is nearly unheard of.

There could be solar flares.

There is a lot of tension in the air.

I think we just had a pretty good sized Earthquake in Alaska, and maybe more of those on the way.

It is very dry in some places and wildfires could happen.

I hate to think that there is more to worry about that is bad than to think something really good will happen. But mostly people do pick up on bad vibes.

But just today I saw a story about a man who walked with some kind of new exoskeleton device, so good things are happening in the world. I thought that was pretty cool myself.

Wasnt there an earthquake of 6.4 today?
Id guess that could contribute

I read the other thread but I'm not sure 100% that I understand fully. I look at the graph right now and I see it "leveled". The Dot is mainly blue, gets white a little bit then blue again. Now here's what it says for blue:

What it means
Significantly small network variance. Suggestive of deeply shared, internally motivated group focus. The index is above 95%

So, if I understand correctly, this would tend to represent a global group focus, as in collective internal connection ?

Right or am I way off?

Wish I could copy and paste the graph here to make my point.

I've been watching it all day, and it is not behaving as "usual." It seems way too consistent. Usually the top drifts during the day and the peaks (troughs) do not come in lockstep with each other for long periods of time. I too am confused by this. Are we seeing an event?

Yes, that's like half a day of consistent results reaching into the high 95 percentile, I don't really know what to make of it...
