Seriously...

Of the new stuff out there, what's worth listening to?

Lately, I've found myself listening to the same stuff I've been listening to since middle school and it's getting kinda boring. I don't really have the time or patience to wade through the garbage to find the good stuff, if said good stuff actually exists.

So, what's new?

ETA: By "new," I mean stuff released this year or in the past 2-3 years. All genres/styles inclusive.

depends what you like, here's a few things ive been liking recently

My best friend is manager of these guys, they have an album coming out in August. some amazing tracks on their new album. Called Everything Everything, check them out

best album of 2009 imo The XX

one of my favourite songs from last few years

One of my favorite albums of the last few years is The Streets, not to everyones taste, but another fine album imo

good thread my ipod needs updating

I like your choices as well.....Bon Iver (Flume, Skinny Love, Blood Bank), Phoenix (Lisztomania, 1901, Fences), and the previously mentioned The XX. Phoenix and The XX will be on my favorites list of 2009 for sure.
