Oct 10, 2010 - 10/10/10 is 'XXX' - 666 'Mark Of The Beast' Connection

3 months from today will be October 10th, 2010 or 10/10/10.

This got me to thinking... about numerology and fate etc, etc.

How the 'powers-that-be' or the fates, whatever word we use, may see this as a significant date.

10/10/10 is also seen as 'XXX' in Roman Numerals.

Having also traveled to Amsterdam, Holland, Netherlands, Europe… I am aware that one will see ‘XXX’ all over the city of Amsterdam… and NOT in the way you would think!!!

This is the Coat of Arms of Amsterdam and you will find the ‘XXX’ all over the city…

My research into the origins of ‘XXX’ and it’s meaning lead me to a VERY interesting discovery…

’XXX’ is ‘666’, the so-called 'Mark of the Beast', in Pythagorean Numerology.

Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or on the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom: let him who has understanding reckon the number of the beast, for it is a human number, its number is six hundred and sixty-six. -Revelation 13:16-18

Ok… So who was Pythagoras?

Some of you may have heard of the Pythagorean Theorem used in Mathematics. This was his work.

Pythagoras of Samos was an Ionian Greek philosopher and founder of the religious movement called Pythagoreanism and lived from about 570-495bc.

So in 3 months on 10/10/10 aka 'XXX' aka 666… might some dramatic and profound event have a higher-than-normal probability of occurring? I think it might. Cannot say what for certain of course, but it will be a day I shall observe with increased scrutiny.

So is there some hidden connection? Or is this all just a weird coincidence?

Which finally leads me to my last meandering point. A quite AMAZING new word I discovered: Perhaps this is all just a case of Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia.

First point; if "XXX" is going to mean 10/10/10, there is no obvious reason why it should not be 1810, 1910, 2110, or 2210.

Second point; the date 10/10/10 would have been meaningless at the time John was writing, because that calendar was not in use. There is nothing absolute about our date system.

Third point; the identification of "XXX" with 10/10/10 involves switching from one language and symbol system to another. I question whether this is legitimate.

Fourth point; 666 is clearly identified in Revelation as the number of a person, not the number of a date.

In other words; don't hold your breath.

Very interesting post. The XXX is certainly not without some deep meaning, especially as the numerals are being borne by the Rampant Lions of Judah. There is also a very ancient symbol of these same Lions Rampant bearing the cadeuces. Perhaps you can find that pic and post so all can see the similarities. I think if we explored the symbols deeper we could arrive at the true meaning....whatever that is.

Oh, and have you noticed the Queen of England sits on a throne that also bears the Lion of Judah Rampant but in a stalking position rather than a standing attack position? Hmmm....what could be the connection?

Strange thing about these Lions Rampant. The scriptures liken Satan to a Lion Roaming seeking to devour whom he may.

It's just to show the foreigners Amsterdam is the city to go when it comes to XXX. Just kidding.

I've always wondered what it stands for.

No nothing major happened on 6/6/6.... which I can recall.

But it seems that the fates/powers use more hidden markers of dates for important events. Just putting this 10/10/10 is XXX out there for discussion.

Also discussing the origins of XXX and its meanings.

Please contribute if you have any further info on the hidden meanings of 'XXX'.

10+10=20= 2+0=2 2+3=5

The number 666=
6+6+6=18= 1+8=9
Or 6+66=72 =7+2=9
Or 6+6=12=1+2=3+6=9

The mark 666 doesn't represent satan I think but something we do not understand yet, maybe because of our 0-9 system instead of 12

While the idea of using numerology to determine dates of significance can be fascinating, there have been too many predictions that have turned out incorrect for it to be taken seriously. 06/06/06 & 09/09/09 are probably the major ones in recent times that were predicted to hold some sort of significance to "The Beast" but didn't amount to anything. Us humans enjoy playing games with numbers and trying to derive non-mathematical meanings from these numbers when we can. 10/10/10 sounds intriguing just like 08/08/08 did and 09/09/09 did.

I agree with the OP XXX = 666 .Wether anything becomes of 10/10/10 is another question 51% -49% maybe .I find it disturbing some of the places were XXX shows itself .Places like in front of the judges of shows like Idol and X Factor and so on , people who are awake all know that trash shows like that are to keep the masses asleep and decieved while the system goes about it wicked ways .
We are even indoctrinated to accecpt XXX as a symbol for love or kisses when we sign off a card or letter . In other words we help give it strength and manifestation with out knowledge or consent .Look at XXX as a symbol for pornography it stems from a Roman term porn meaning beneath a woman .
This is because X is made up of two mirror image V's . A rightside up V is a glyph for female and represents the womb and a upside down V equals a cheveron , the glyph for male interperated as a erect phallus . Put the two together and you get the female glyph above the male glyph hence the expression beneath a woman .The is meant as a roman insult , look at a womans position in society in Catholosism .
Ok now try this , you are given a example of ticking or crossing a questioneer . Tick yes or correct , cross no or wrong . When you cross the box you mark it with a X . X meaning a cross . OK so X equals a cross .Keep that in mind , How many crosses were there during Christs crucifixtion ? 3 right ? Ok now what if the crosses were not the T T T crosses that Christians are taught and were in fact Roman crosses X X X .It was Romans after all who crucified Christ . So what do you get XXX You are beneath a woman and XXX - 666 a double insult to Christ .Just something to ponder .

I was thinking, how is XXX, 666? I'm confused on this part, wouldnt it be VIVIVI? And didn't they thing the first letters of what is engraved on the pope's crown to mean 666, or the original evil number which is like 500 and somthing, and that was debunked too. Nothing interesting will hapen that day.

You are right.

Basically, there are a lot of people saying, 10 10 10 = 6 6 6 = 10/10/10

Significantly, P115 aligns with Codex Alexandrinus (A) and Codex Ephraemi Rescriptus (C) which are generally regarded as providing the best testimony to Revelation. Thus, P115 has superior testimony to that of P47 which aligns with Codex Sinaiticus and together form the second-best witness to the Book of Revelation. This has led some scholars to conclude that 616 is the original number of the beast.
