Believe me I'm in no way defending the actions of that tyrant. I'm just pointing out that he is the one following the example of Washington DC, they did the same thing after the SCOTUS ruled against them. He's not setting the precedence, DC already did that.

You are correct, and yes DC already set precedent by watering down the previous ruling from the SCOTUS. However, Daley seems to be going for the grand finale with his ordinance and it seems to be just a draconian as his gun ban. This what Daley is doing to the Supreme Court's ruling with the help of his goons.

He is dead set on making it near impossible to possess a weapon in a sinister attempt of discouraging Chicagoans from their Constitutional right to protect themselves and to possess a fire arm.

The guy is bad news. He is only out for his self, buddies, and protecting the monopoly on power his old man created for him. I say to others who are not from Chicago, that it is the only active dictatorship in the country. It is like a world all its own were thievery and criminality comes from all walks and in all shapes and sizes. Just a scab full of puss, and I hope someday the Feds find a finger big enough to scratch it off. Because it is heck of bag scab. Sadly, I think The Chicago Way has gone Federal with the President and his Chicago buddies commandeering the ship into the iceberg of corruption, waste, deficit spending, and every form of dishonest government and thievery that has crippled Chicago and Illinois for generations. Here is a song about dear leader, King Richard Daley. Its a classic!

I think it's even more draconian, but then everything he does is draconian.

The problem here, at least IMO, is that all the fault does not lay with Daley here. The SCOTUS holds it's own share of the blame in this matter. They dropped the ball when they left the final ruling to the lower courts. They saw what happened after their ruling with the DC case and they left a big gaping hole to allow the same in Chicago, and believe me they knew Daley would do worse.

Yes he is, and he'll never stop doing so. The majority of people here have fallen in with his line of thinking and until they wake up and put an end to it things will never change.

It is indeed a dictatorship that reeks of corruption from top to bottom. And yes Obama has taken the Chicago way all the way to the white house, but that is the fault of the people. They knew who he was, where he came from, what kind of politics he practiced, who he had ties to and still they came out in droves to vote for "his change".

Edit because i forgot how to spell
