Wall Street can't yank entitlements.

Only government can do that.

Government yanked the entitlements for Social Security the moment they started dipping into the trust fund.

The insolvency of Socialist Security has been in the works for decades.

This is not a republican/democrat thing, this is a government thing.

This is a criminal unconstitutional government completely over-stepping its constitutional limitations.

This is what happens when government is given power over ANYTHING - medical care, retirement, schooling, etc.. You name it, they break it.

I don't know about now a days, but my father and Father in law has been able to live on SS and live well.

Both owns their homes and have new cars.

Still beware of the coming scam of privatizing SS and Medicare, after all I see the Democrats losing their majority seats in congress and probably the presidential seat next and we all know how the economy is doing right now.

Stop it mnemeth1 your making to damn much sense!

It is indeed a classic ponzi scheme. All ponzi schemes rely in new dupes coming in at the bottom of the pyramid to keep the takers at the top afloat. As soon as that stops the scheme comes unraveled.

Socialist security is one of the most fantastic longest running ponzi schemes in history for two reasons. One it is enforced by law and two you still have majority of dupes believing it is legitimate and there is actually a SS trust fund separate from the general tax and steal fund

Now the pyramid has flipped and the top is larger then the bottom and is collapsing in on it self so the geniuses are borrowing to keep it afloat. How long do you think that can last?

Socialist security will collapse under the weight of its own fraud.

Privatized or not, young people today will not get anything out of it.

You are forgetting that our government is run by private corporations, is not such thing as Socialism working here, as you have learned by now with the HCR scam.

It was all about bailout private insurance companies.

So I see more and more of the government giving away programs that until now were run by the government.

Remember that the privatization of SS is been around since the Bush administration, I dare to predict that it will become a reality before this decade is over

Additionally, the very idea of making seniors work longer before claiming their own money is an outrage.

There is nothing more depressing or shameful for our nation than a senior citizen who has to bag groceries or flip burgers to make ends meet after a lifetime of hard work.

This is what we have become America. This is your CorpGov.

I was promised retirement at age 55. I contributed on that agreement. Now they won't give me back my money until I am 85. I am ready to sue. Are you ready to join a class action suit with me? People who got in on Social Security when it started became millionaires when they retired, even though the worked at minimum wage jobs their whole life. If you are just getting into the workforce now you will not get enough to buy a taco a day when you retire. Our grandparents ripped us all off.

I'm not forgetting anything.

Our government is a fascist institution of crooks and robbers.

YOU are the one with the misplaced trust.

You seem to think that if we just got the right people in there, we could fix all of this.

I'm here to tell you that is a la-la land fantasy.

There is only one way to solve this - eliminate government's involvement PERIOD.

Socialist security is not only bankrupt, it will cause the bankruptcy of this entire nation - along with its criminal counterpart Medicare.

100 trillion in unfunded liabilities between the two.

I'm going to lay it out for you.

What I'm about to say will piss most of you off, you will not want to hear it, but this is what needs to be done:

1. All payroll taxes must cease immediately

2. All social security and medicare payments must cease immediately.

3. All federal income taxes must cease immediately

4. All borrowing and printing of money must cease immediately

5. A flat consumption tax must be implemented to fund all on going federal actives and the size of the federal government must be cut DRAMATICALLY. The government may only spend what it collects.

6. The military must be nearly eliminated, the wars must cease immediately. Only the Navy and basic defensive military units must be maintained.

7. Until private charity can pick up the slack, extreme means tested programs for the elderly and the poor who are unable to work must be funded from the collected taxes.

8. If you can work, it doesn't matter what your situation is, you will get nothing. This includes unemployment benefits. If you want unemployment insurance, you have to buy that on your own from a private retailer.

9. The federal reserve must be abolished and all bailout moneys must be taken back from the banks, and all toxic assets must be dumped back on to the banks they were purchased from. This will cause massive financial chaos, but it is required to correct the debt. Those banks must go bankrupt and the debt must be eliminated from the system.

Only by doing ALL of the above can we hope to save the country from the fate of Zimbabwe.

It's called redistribution of wealth. Part of the Progressive agenda that started taking hold of this country 100 years ago.

Hon you got me mistaken with somebody else because you have to find a thread or post of mine that I have voiced any support for anything the government is doing past and present and remember I been here for 6 years already and that is a lot of post I got behind me.
