June 27, 2010 rock band Phish performs YEM vocal jam with tease "Surfin' Bird". The next day Robert Byrd the longest serving senator in US history died. Connected? I think so.

as someone who attended numerous phish shows in the mid 90's i can tell you that the only way you will be experienceing telepathy there is by ingesting one of the many party aids that were available..

great music ,yes
causing or predicting senators deaths, no

thats my opinion and im sticking to it..

How many events occurred that night? How many songs were sung? How many words spoken?

You're connecting two things together that otherwise have nothing to them, except your erroneous belief and desire to prove telepathy. If telepathy were real, people would know about this by now. If telepathy were true, there would be people scheming the stock market, and lottery, and casino's, etc, etc..

It doesn't exist. People do predict things from time to time. Our subconscious does integrate things and form probability tables that go way beyond conscious rational reasoning. Some people do have the ability to tap into this to a greater extent than most. The thing is, it's always just a probability. Nothing is set in stone. People don't read minds, they read faces and social cues. Psychotic people do this to a hyper extent, and get confused and think they're special. They're just especially messed up is all.

Well the thread you linked (and the one in the signature) sure are more far-out then this thread - but still - this pretty far fetched...

You say telepathy isn't real and everyone would know about it if it did.

On the other hand.

You have to see the other way around by saying telepathy is real but very few people know of it or do not know how to use it. It may be a secret that the public is not suppose to know about.

I know it's your opinion and than fine everyone is entitled to one but it's good to look at both sides of the spectrum.

It's definitely possible. I'm just going from experience. Everyone I've met who claimed to be telepathic was a bit psychotic. Psychotics usually have abnormally high dopamine levels, and are basically hyper tuned into social cues. Their mind is jumbled up, but some things they get right.

I was actually psychotic at one point. Long story. Basically, I went through this process. I could glance at someone for a split second and practically feel as if I knew what they were thinking. It caused such an explosion of thought/emotions in my mind that I'd usually jump a little and have to look away immediately. There was no telepathy involved, trust me. I just had a racing mind that was about like being tweaked out on speed, only naturally so.

Once I balanced out, that faded away. I still jump sometimes just a little when turning a corner and seeing people. This is mostly due to past experiences and the fact that I'm usually still deep in thought.

I'll just leave it at it may be possible, but based on all I've experienced, a little logic, and common sense, it seems highly unlikely.

Show opener for 6/29/10 (first after 27th) "The Connection".

When I see the connection
Though I see I don't stare
Though I see I don't stare

When I'm lost in my reflection
Though I see I don't stare
Though I see I don't stare

Then I change my direction
One foot follows the other
One foot follows something new
'Cause I need some protection
And I'm scared I could lose it
If I stare, you'll be gone

When I need some attention
Though I see I don't stare
Though I see I don't stare

When I'm lost in my reflection
Though I see I don't stare
Though I see I don't stare

I could not verify this. Are you sure you are not mistaken? The Family Guy episode is "I Dream of Jesus" and was not scheduled for either 10:30 or 11:00 on Cartoon Network [check here].
