We just had an earthquake in OTTAWA!!!

We've had 2 small ones in NC: 2.1 and 2.3. Very odd. I was feeling comfortable as I am in Western NC- no floods, mud slides, quakes, tornadoes, hurricanes. I thought we were exempt.

I just saw my thread bumped so I will add that yes we did have another one but I didn't feel a thing this time.

How so? Please, and demonstrate how you tie it in to the thread, because I'm certain you have much to share on the subject and we foreigners are simply missing the subtlety of your remarks.

a big earthquake in eastern Canada is long overdue .

the last big one : 1663 - charlevoix region mag 7.0+

and a (not 100% confirmed ) 1534-1534 mag 7.5+ (before Quebec colonization)
