Hey everyone,

I was searching some things yesterday online about political ideologies and came across a quiz on the Libertarian Party of the United States' website.

Take it and tell us your result. I took it and got centrist.

It wouldn't work for me, but I can tell you that my score would look something like:

Personal Freedom 100% (I agreed with them all)
Economic 40%

Personal Issues Score: 90%
Economic Issues: 40%

I got Liberal which is pretty much what I expected. This is what it says about Liberals on the site.

Liberals usually embrace freedom of choice in personal matters, but tend to support significant government control of the economy. They generally support a government-funded "safety net" to help the disadvantaged, and advocate strict regulation of business. Liberals tend to favor environmental regulations, defend civil liberties and free expression, support government action to promote equality, and tolerate diverse lifestyles.

It doesn't factor in that I am a Libertarian Liberal. What I mean by that is that I want to cut taxes buy as much as possible, and keep the economy as efficient as possible, while still keeping some Liberal policies, such as welfare, socialized health-care, etc.

I actually took this along time ago and scored all the way at the top of the Nolan Chart (libertarian with a lowercase "t"), as expected. Just by looking it over again, I can assure you that my views have not changed. What is more "just" than individual liberty? Force, when applied between human beings is completely uncalled for, no matter what anyone else thinks, IMO.

Very nice quiz there as well. For that quiz my dot was in the Left Authoritarian box but close to the Righ Authoritarian side. Pretty Cool.
