This is not Codex being implemented. It has already been stopped cold. Look at the languages of some of your favourite food products. If printed in English then it may be Codex adherent but if printed in multiple languages the company has in effect skipped and bypassed Codex. As with all Federal legislation the State/Commonweatlhs can ban together and not allow the practice in their state which has taken effect here.

Codex is dead.

Ok so you think just because the language might be different it's not implemented. HA! Ok you do know that most things in the US have multiple languages on them? Codex is global not just in the US. It has global ramifications. I think they are slowly trying to add parts of it into law and people don't even notice it. That is how they won't notice it. If it's done slowly nobody will notice or honestly even care. As long as things like American Idol and The Real Housewives of (insert any county) are on most people just don't seem to care about anything relevant.

Nobody should tell me what I can and can't put into my own body.

OP great post! Thanks for sharing this information.

Queen,
Legal loopholes allow states and smaller governments to opt out of it. Participation is optional and not complusory. The end result is they want to make it compulsory but too many obstacles and hurdles stand between them and global implementation. The NAU could in effect tell the Global hierarchy that quite simply it will not participate and the global structure has no choice but to abide.

Also, how Corporate Personhood can apply to people means that if you get enough "corporations" together and acting under the guise of a conglamurate can in effect deny any global entity the autourity to implement Codex in thier hometown or home nation. The "conglamurate" can in effect demand that it be excluded and have its employees not be subjectable to it.

IE, you and I can band together as "corporations wishing to unite under a common goal to keep our respective employees healthy and safe". This totally bypasses any global mandate.

Obama ordered in Jan 09 all 43 era policies suspended pending review, this is one of the items that is suspended. Domestically in the US, The EU, Asia has enough to worry about seeing it's financial woes now. South and Central America are still dealing with the cartels, Africa is dealing with the slave and diamond mine trading, Australia is worrying about it's items. To kill this all you have to do is keep the dockett so full with other items that in effect gurantees that this never sees the light of day. Stateside it has been tabled.

I'm conflicted on this issue.

There are people out there claiming they have cures for cancer, HIV, parkinsons and a host of other things which are completely untested and some which are tested and proven false, yet they are still able to seel these things and make claims because they are herbal supplements. This kind of thing makes my blood boil, playing on the fear of people who are very ill.

However i don't think a government should be able to tell anyone what they can and cannot put in their bodies, especially when much of it has no real harmful effects unless you go nuts with it. That's like anything though, to much of it is poison as the famous quote says. It seems odd to allow alcohol, cigarettes and a number of dangerous prescription drugs to be sold and then put limits on vitamins.

There is i think a middle ground. Apply the laws regarding claims more strictly but allow all of the stuff to be available to the public. That way those that believe they work can take them and those that don't won't be duped into thinking they can help.

The problem with these enhanced foods is we really can't do without them right now. The world is overpopulated so we need more resistant crops, even if the stuff which is making them resistant is doing us harm. Right now we need action on population, if we just suddenly go back to organic naturally grown food, there would be a huge price rise in food and a lot more shortages, which i'm sure everyone would bitch and moan about. Not everything is a devious plan, this is just out of necessity.

They want people to be ill by supressing vitamins. So that they have more cancers to cure. It's all about money. They also want total control on food, which will harm a lot of traditional foodmakers.

Think about it... if i'm dressed as a clown, dancing a stupid jig with 50 other clowns holding a big flag as we wave it around singing a song and you are clapping and waving, all the while behind said flag is a team of trained assassins lining you up in their sights, it's distracted you right?

all you see is a bunch of clowns waving a flag before the bullet plows into your brain and everyone elses... extreme example, but you get the point.

Perhaps codex is mentioned in some news reports, possibly in a brief 25 second clip/sound bite, and then it's back to the oil spill/murders/border issues/war in iraq/etc coverage.

The media doesn't say much at all anymore. I hear fire engines going up and down the street all night/day, and unless half the town is reduced to ash, they won't report it. Hell, the only time i've heard reports here of major hotel fires is via a scanner. Some hotels have had two floors on fire and not a *single* peep is heard on the news...

between the media and spin doctors at the casino/hotel, it doesn't get out. If it does get out, it's buried so quickly and fast/deleted/choked over at the end of the newscast, you'll never find it again

I scoured the online archives of a newspaper here for mention of the colorado river having uranium tailings in it, when the debate about storing nuclear waste at yucca mountain heated up, it vanished. (had found it long before, was doing research on throat cancer/tumors and came across that) no (exhaustive) search using all the various keywords I think of turned it up. Probably only on microfiche buried in a dusty vault/drawer somewhere as we speak....

Wow, he is not trying to argue you. The fact is that you are posting second hand info from a fricken youtube video. You don't know what you are talking about. You just adding on to more senseless hype and increasing fear. I'm not attacking you, this isn't about your opinion, the fact is that you are spreading information that you have not researched and it could be faulty information.

All I can really bring to the discussion is this, which I will fully admit to being nothing but gut-feeling, non-fact checking instinct based on logic:

Corporations have shareholders.

Executive officers have financial and legal responsibilities to protecting the company's shareholders, and their profits.

Pharmaceuticals are corporations, therefore, executive officers of pharmaceuticals have a financial duty to their shareholders.

Sick people bolster a market for pharmaceutical corporations.

Healthy people decrease that market for pharmaceutical corporations.

Therefore, it is in a pharmaceutical corporation's best interest to protect their bottom lines. This includes insidious evil human being activities that are intent on keeping the sick sick and attempting to poison the healthy.

Simple economics, money and greed really. A market, after all, is simply a market as far as profit margins are concerned.

I can't prove it, but I will NEVER believe that a company or a branch of some government getting stroked by a company is looking out for my best interests and health.

This is a belief only, and I will only defend it as such. BP clearly didn't care about the consequences of their unquenchable greed, why stop the slaughter at oil? Shareholders do not care how they get their money, so long as they get it.

Why would it be so far fetched that my belief is reality?

i have been saying this for years. i have also been saying people are idiots for years too. i think i might be right on both counts.

it makes more sense in a world dominated by greed and money.

that this is why we are all doomed because we choose this insanity everyday when we wake uo and go to work. feeding the beast every day.

Thanks for bringing some sanity into this ever increasing fear mongering. It says it all that you have only one star for this post when you should be applauded. People want to be scared and ignore the voice of reason. I am guilty as well but I try to stay away from it as much as possible because it is bad for your health.

What I don't get is why I'm called crazy for thinking such things when it's a known fact companies will chain little kids to assembly lines and pay them by not killing them that day. Or feeding them enough gruel to keep up production.

We have precedents for this kinda crap - when, in the corporate world, evils equatable to (if not flat out) murder are common place.

Why am I crazy for thinking a corporation would kill for a LOT of money when individuals kill every day for very LITTLE money robbing stores, each other, etc...

AND I'M CRAZY. I'M THE CRAZY ONE. SEE MY TINFOIL HAT WORLD? MURDER IS OK FOR MONEY, BUT I'M THE NUT THAT THINKS PEOPLE KILL FOR MONEY.

sorry, that really struck a nerve...

The Youtube video is by Dr. Rima Laibow, she is a Phd and has
been campaigning against Codex long before it past and
speaks to its original origins with the nazi's.

In that context that it is verbatim what was used then do
you still dismiss it with a wave of your hand and an arrogant
ad hominem attack ?

Codex is evil, and it is coming to all nations of the world.

Monsanto is one of the big backers of codex along with other
GMO food makers, and it is now now by mainstream science
that GMO food kills lab animals and makes the 2nd or 3rd
generation sterile.

www.reuters.com...

So you got right ahead and scoop up a big mouthful genius.

Good Luck to you all !
