Only one place to use them... right here

Otherwise, I'll buy you a cup of coffee and a bagel for all you've gotten so far, but you have to pay air fare.

J/K, of course

Yes. As long as it meets (or surpasses) the required word count of 400.

The problem is that @NOT@ everybody is good at writing Contests. Some people are just better then others, it is a certain kind of skill that somebody would need to write for a writing Contest.

The only way to find out if the ability to write exceptionally well exists, obviously, is to try one's hand at it.

(testing the oily waters, so to speak)

I've got a question, can the piece be a view? Is it meant to have the traditional approach of having a "beginning, middle or end?"

If you mean a description of a moment in time, then I see no reason why not.

Standard plot lines work well in lengthy books, but not so well in 400 words.

I'm in!

I have some questions tho?

Can we make one story into several posts? I've read some of the stories already up and one guy had several posts making up his story. Is that ok because I plan on doing the same. Writing a little each day.

Also is it OK to edit grammar and spelling?

Thanks.

Edit: see what I mean.

You have a couple of hours to use for edits, but then, after that, you'd need to ask me to do it for you because you will automatically lose the power to do so yourself.

As for multiple posts on your thread... use as many as you need.

It's been a few years since I entered one of these. I've been reading the entries and am amazed at the diversity of the ideas. Good job folks!
