High weirdness on my emails.

The sent emails from my Zimbra account are all routed through Central America.

At the time stamp is always incorrect.

I called my provider but they are useless as I know more about this then she did. lol

Any thoughts?

They are all like that in my sent box.

Maybe you chose the wrong location/time zone when you signed up for your account.

Instead of choosing North America you accidentaly chose Central" ??

Let me see when this started I am going through my deleted emails.

Anything sent US side is normal.

Anything sent Canada is routed through central America.

Just got off the phone with senior support at my ISP and all my emails should not leave their server router when I email in my home city to their customers but they all go to central America.

lol

They had me send or forward some of them so they could investigate.

Hope its some of our guys in Central America...Oorah.

Interesting. Sometimes DNS gets a little weird and routes stuff to weird locations. Remindes me of my current issue with text messages on my phone. Most are coming from the year 2016. The day/month/time is correct but the year is 16. Suppose it could be 1916 for that matter. Not a big deal to me. Good to know that that is business as usuall in the future
Of course tech support cannot figure it out.

OP should run a trace route and see exactly what routers his messages are passing through. I would like to know what ISP in South America it is passing through.

If you use a traceroute command, what does it route through when you traceroute your ISPs mail server?

Possibly an underwater cable was damaged or otherwise, and your connection
was re routed. Maybe also, you have been attacked by hacker/virus.

Shut Down/Reboot/Full system scan may be in order. Use/create alternative
email account in the meantime. And from now on be on your best behavior.

yep.

And any one I have met have all been on the righteous side of life.

But as wildanimal says...best behavior.lol Not that I have ever transgressed in any major manner, or even minor.
