BP buys Google, Yahoo search words to keep people away from real news on Gulf oil spill disaster

I just stumbled on to the fact that BP has bought the search terms associated with the spill....and yes you can do that it is part of marketing campaigns known on the internet since birth.

This is kind of like the ownership of news in the us by a single coorportation. Yes you may report everything but what I tell you not to.

Why exactly do we have a foreign company drilling for oil off our shores anyway?? It is not like they care what happens to this country. All they want is our resources.

Drilling in the United States needs to be restricted to American companies.

The same reason as there are american companies such as mcburger/Kentuck chickcrap etc in other countries around the world.
And before you say they don't,yes they do cause harm to the environment and to people.
