Actually the weather channel last Friday were showing satellite pictures of deep sea oil shadows moving out into the open sea from the gulf.

This is the part of the spill deep into the sea, not the one that is floating on the surface.

A plea from us spiritual, crazies out here...

Can everyone take just a few moments a day to focus or imagine the Gulf in a pristine, clean, thriving way?

Thoughts are powerful and some positive thoughts will open probabilities for something other than fear and anger. It won't clean it up in a heart beat, but it will open avenues for further thoughforms to flourish.

And I can think of another use for the Big Boot...a Giant Ass Kickin' ! We need a giant can of Whoop Ass for BP and any other corporation that acts irresponsibly.

And blujay's appeal is correct. We cannot let anger and fear paralyze us into either inaction or reckless action.

Maybe it's some sort of agreement that Iran and the US and maybe even BP or the UK have come to: US doesn't want Iran with nukes; Iran holds a grudge with BP and US says we'll ruin BP's name and give you an opportunity to make an offer of assistance giving you a better image (which could be agreed with BP behind the scenes).

That's just it, Jakes51, this is getting rather ridiculous, the fact that this mess is not cleaned up shows both contempt for America, via BP PLC, and inadequacy on Obama's experience.

This is one of those times where people need to be handled fast and correctly.

There is no option to allow BP PLC off the hook with the stalling tactics and minimal effort.

If our allies, this being the U.K., are not held accountable, through the corporations who do business off of our shores, this event will be as effective as blood in the water, in regards to the International Community, with the United Nations, and all the countries who hate us, a long list, will begin seeing America as weak under Obama, and who know what they will do.

When looking at any event, especially on the World Stage, we must remember our country is a prime target, and everyone is watching closely how we handle events.

And for those who want to nuke the oil well, that is not even a good idea, because it is first international waters, second an ecological nightmare, and will be seen as an act of war on many levels by not only Mexico but Cuba and Castro.

We have laws about nuclear devices being used for a reason.

Yes, I agree with your assessments, however, our ocean waters, where the Gulf of Mexico flows out to will not wait months for this disaster to be stalled upon.

This is not only affecting our shores, but it will soon begin affecting the shores of Mexico, Cuba, and other countries as the sea currents begin taking the oil out and further into international arena of water, and with the Keys and coral reefs that will be killed off we're talking not only current marine life but future marine life that would feed through the reefs and the people who rely upon the fishing industry, all because BP PLC and Obama are mishandling a tragedy.

As I have stated before, BP PLC needs to be fined per day that the oil is spilling forth.

This is why I have never supported offshore drilling, no matter the statistics of how often this happens, all it takes is one time, and our shores are screwed.

The top kill didn't work. The ROV's have cut off the bent over pipe (riser) that was shown on their camera leaking out of 4 places and another semi-submersible drilling rig is slowly making its way to position over the well, they will then lower another BOP on top of this faulty one. I can see the drilling rig slowly inching over there. It is doing just over 1 knot. This new development hasn't been released to the MSM yet.

I saw your post about the caisson and I'm not suggesting a 5,000 feet high caisson.

I actually had not specified a height but the idea of the caisson is a good one.

Sink the caisson, pump out the sea water, through a filtration system, and put oil well workers in pressurized suits in there to fix the problem rather quickly.

Glad to join the commenting my old friend! And indeed the Oil Spill is a mess far greater than anything we LA folks could have imagined. Infact, we are beginning to get a smell of oil in the neighboring parishes that is incredibly strong, especially at night. And now since the Top Kill has been failed the threat has become even more alarming since hurricane season is now right around the bend and we do NOT need another storm here that will not only cause destruction on land and possibly another flood, but can you imagine if the oil is not cleaned up by then the catastrophe this will be....

The havvoc has begun. plant life, fish, and amimals reach beaches dead and the stench of oil and rotting ocean life. It will be a biological nightmare. Oil burning in peoples lungs, THE OIL SICKNESS HAS BEGUN.

pepnastick, you are right. Way too many coincidences to just be a... coincidence.

When something like this happens you don't seat around for weeks, you implement plans that have been used before. Waiting is the worse that can be done. Also the fact that they continue to use Corexit to keep much of the oil from surfacing even after the public has found out about it is a tell tale sign that these people want for oil to taint the oceans.

Remember that those who own BP, and other similar oil companies are the rich elites who are in control of much of the world. They are part of those who want to implement a One World Government, so this spill is to their advantage, because it will help them usher their goal of a one World Government.

Their Global Warming hoax has been shown to be a scam, and that was their first attemp to mek people accept their One World Government "to fight Climate Change" which we can't change at all.

Now they are trying this new scheme, to get people to accept their draconian laws, and their One World Socialist Government.

It is up to the people to accept it, or to see through their schemes and say enough is enough.

These people don't care about the oceans. They don't care about nature, even when they claim they do. All they care about is to have more control, and more power.

Obama missed a huge opportunity to avoid the Katrina syndrome (lack of leadership). He could have taken control of this situation from the beginning instead of assuming BP could handle it. So, it took Carville ranting on TV about the lack of leadership. Then, Obama goes to the scene for a photo op.

It's too bad we don't have FDR or Truman, Kennedy, or even LBJ, who would have had the political savvy and shall we say have 'what it takes' to have gotten the U.S. Navy and NASA (best engineers on the planet) to tackle this thing from the get go. A gutsy prez would have told BP, you're working in support of us and my team is in command... cooperate or step aside.

Yes, I've heard people say "BP is the only company with the tools and experience to fix this," but hey, bottom line: they haven't gotten the job done.

It would have taken some foresight and plenty of 'man up' for Obama to have grabbed the reigns and put BP in their place from the beginning, but that's what great presidents do.

The political side of it is the following for any president who is well briefed on the problem, the crisis, and the worst case scenario just after the initial accident in WEEK ONE... if I do nothing but sit back and watch BP work on this the worst that can happen is BP will fail and I will look like a very weak president, but if I go high profile, kick butt, take charge, put BP in a supporting role ONLY, command this, bring in the best engineers from the U.S. Navy and NASA... worst case is that we fail to plug the leak but I go down in history as a strong president for being a (for real) Commander-In-Chief.

Sorry, Obama. Your big moment has passed and you can't get it back with these phony photo ops.

But, on the other hand, some of the posters about the NWO angle might be right on. That would explain why it looks like lack of leadership. Maybe Obama is just doing what the NWO orders him to do and that might be 'do nothing', who knows?

I think for this situation, we needed Carville's Southern brother, Bill Clinton, who could really connect when he said, "I feel your pain."

I think that Obama understands the situation on an intellectual and pragmatic level. On that level, BP held the cards in hand to stop the leak.

Because of the nature of this event (5000ft under and 40 miles offshore), people at first had hopes we dodged a bullet; only in reality, the bullet was in slow motion as in a movie. The means to fight the onslaught were not in Washington but in the gulf states. Booms, boats, heavy equipment and people are really the only means to defend our beaches, but this disaster is huge, not your typical spill/leak.

In reality, Americans are at the mercy of corporations. Tell a foreign company what to do? Ha! To hell with you, we'll spray whatever dispersant we damn well please!

We prepare for biological/chemical attacks from other countries and "terrorists", and set out our military, with guns blazing, to fight the enemy. But when we suffer a biological/chemical attack from a corporation, we are powerless as a nation.

You know how badly we've been taken over, not by communists or evil but by corporations, when even a Republican Tennessee Senator thinks that the federal govt should tell BP what to do. source Once again, profits were privatized and losses socialized.

The same gulf states that heavily depended on oil money and energy, now are at the mercy of inadequate disaster preparation, both their own and the corporations they trusted to provide it.

The Russians have killed several out of control wells with limited yield nuclear devices. Everyone needs to get over the fear of using a nuke to seal the thing off. We need to call in the Russian experts that have done it before and get the thing sealed off.

A nuke will melt rock and crush enough of the well to seal it off and stop the flow. I think the risk of doing that is a lot less than what will be the result of all the feeble minded bumbling that is going on now.

I feel you I really do but consider the seismic event that was felt by every seismograph in the US at the same time. It was particularly strong in Florida and China of all places. Something happened at a very deep depth.

Then we have to look at this information and some of the research of Jack Reed a geophysicist with Texaco in New Orleans at the time.



We got another thread going around about the location of the actual gusher and if correct it comes dangerously close to Jack Reeds missing tectonic plate. Jack Reeds (theoretical) plate butts up against the New Madrid Fault line.

Then you have Gordon Michael Scallions future map of what he believed the US would one day look like. Yeah he's pretty far out there but just between you and me I'd rather not chance it.



If Reed was right there is already a danger that the sea floor may crater due to the gap left by the escaping oil and set that plate in motion.

None of this amounts to a conclusive body of evidence but I think we need to err on the side of caution here with this one and just keep going forward with this relief well.

I talked to a friend about a week ago. They have talked to a few friends of theirs. It just so happens that they are in the oil industry. It seems I have found a very capital solution to the problem. They jumped off the phone to see if it was legal. Two minutes later My friend called back, told gotta go its legal. Now heres the beautiful part.

"if this works y'all will have a nice check coming."

I expect to see it get cleaned up quickly if they are on the level.

Her friend wants to talk some more about the rest of the points I mentioned. Watch the news for about at least ten oilers to show up in the area.

BTW, the owner of the other oil company wanted to know how they missed that. The lawyer was reassigned.

Now for your comments.

Pure photo ops with no inclination to do anything. You can consider LA screwed if my idea is not followed through on. Nothing else will be done.

The proof I believes lies with the fact the state government wont do anything without the Feds approval.

If I was governor I would have done the ideas he has espoused on day five. It points to us being sold out. If he had done it, he would be THE republican challenger in 2012.

I call... We have be sold out and this is the solid proof.
