Hello fello ATSers. I have had something on my mind for some time now. Its been weighing heavily so im just going to ask you all about it. I a so called "NWO" really a bad thing? Not an opressive NWO like everyone thinks about all of the time, but one where things could be more equal. I was wandering earlier about how the wealth is devided in America. And i choose America because thats where I live. What i found out was pretty disturbing.

Shouldnt these numbers be a little more equal? I mean one percent has over 90 percent of the wealth in the most frequent years. Just the numbers alone are disturbing to me.

Why have all of these people become so cutthroat? One simple answer is GREED. They want more and more and people are seeing this and nipping on their shirttails trying to follow in their footsteps. Why not have a salary cap? I for one think that a cap would drive prices down because most of these moneyhungry people would realize that they can only make so much a year. The CEO who runs the fortuine 500 company would be less likely to cut the little man out if his theres really not a reason to. People might actually pursue the things they enjoy if they didnt feel the need to be the richest people in the universe.

There would deffinately have to be some major changes made. A major change would be welcome in my eyes. Major changes. Perhaps like the end of all the nannying that goes on around here. Someones always got something to complain about and that will never change. Maybe we should be a little more tollerant instead of having some "big brother" figure forceing us to be. If we could learn this valuable trait then maybe we wouldn have all of these laws being inacted every day. New laws everyday added on top of the previous laws turns this place into a cage.

I dont claim to be the smartest person around, but WTF does this crap mean? It looks to me like a made up casino that the elite spend billions at every day. Major changes would be needed. A complete wipeout for instance. Mabe some of these folks playing in this casino could go get a real job that means something? At the end of the day I look at a new bridge or A new highway that is almost open and say "I helped do that". At the end of the day these people look at what? The millions swindled that day? They have made themselves a fairytell land and a fairytell language that most people dont understand so that the bottom 80 or 90 percent of the population can be ENSLAVED. For what? A house with a white picket fence and a fat debt that when paid in full will be 500 percent more that the actual loan was worth.

Im tired of this crap. We need to change. Does anone have any ideas on other things that could be done to make this place a little less crappy? Please dont try to flame me too hard. I dont really do this everyday. However, I DO know that somethings got to give.

I agree for the most part. That is why they say knowledge equals power. The top 1% of any society are where they are because they did whatever it took to get there. I know it. You know it. We all know it.

Greed does that to people. It is how this world is run now. lol. People act so surprised at this.

If the top 1% of people really wanted to help their fellow man they would. But alas, they do not. And also it is us whom allow ourselves, as a society, to be kept in bondage.

Division is what makes up the 90%. Working together is what makes up the 1%.

It's a sad reality but a lot of us know this. Here in NZ, they just had a big GST increase and some decent TAX cuts, but all it did was make the rich richer and the poor got nothing. Sad sad world and that's why we need to get rid of money, embrace technology, embrace a resource based economy.

What I think is happening here, is that the elite are gathering resources, materials, technology and knowledge (like refined schooling) and they're going to wipe us out and start over with self sustaining cities. They aren't building those underground bunkers for nothing. Seed bank, food storage, countless underground bases. That's what I envision anyway.

We can't help ourselves, people living for profit and held down by they religions. They have really succeeded in controlling everyone, the NWO will go ahead.

I am not so sure most of the top 1% are there because they worked hard and some how dragged themselves up to that postion, sure there will be a few but mostly they where born into money. I also find that a majority of people in these top ranks espically in the UK went to the same schools and are part of what we call the buddy boy network.

Just look David Cameron went to Eton now 13 of his old school chums where given jobs when he became Priminister.

When was the last time you heard of a CEO of a big company actually work his way there from a basic office job? Its a thing of the past postions like CEO's in banks and buisness is now about politics and its not what you know its who you know.

Back to the OP I totally agree greed is the key if we can eliminate that then we really could have a good quality of life for every one but I doubt that will ever happen.

So you think we're basically screwed? Ants kill larger animals like frogs everyday. Im not saying anyone needs to die just that there is strength in numbers. I guess people just need to wake up out of the trance that we have been in for the past 100 years. I think some actually are waking up. The internet is a vital tool IMHO. We need this to communicate and i believe it has opened many eyes.

I do agree with a reducing the population however. Its really common sence that if we keep multiplying were are going to self destruct. I believe it could be obtained peacefully though. Just regulate birth rates and over a certain period of time the human race would have been reduced. I know it sucks but as i had said earlier, a major change is needed.

Compound interest ensures the rich get richer.

They're paid just for having money.

And the poor... they've got to borrow to even come close to the lifestyle we are "supposed" to live. You know, that whole thing we're taught to believe from birth via advertising - that we need the clothes, the cars, the entertainment. Borrow to get it, or everyone who sees you will think you're not a good person.

...And the most sinister part of all the brainwashing is that we are taught to believe if we don't make our appearances we'll never, ever get laid.

The system is rotten, from the government, to the fed, to compound interest, to advertising to all the brainwashing that perpetuates the whole mess.

It's time for a better game. Let's make sure it's something new, not one of the failed examples from history.

I certainly agree with you. Just because some old geezer come up with something awesome way back when, we have to live by the rule of their decendents (sp?). Its rediculios. We need a total distribution of wealth. A real one.

Compound Interest. Another one of those fairytell words that I nor anyone I know have a clue what it means. When I hear words like that it just makes me think that someone is getting a lot of money for basically nothing. Another "job" that should be completely wiped out.

1. You live in the USA

2. You have it better than most in the world.

3. You obviously have the internet so you can afford more than poverty level iterms

4. You have a computer

5. Instead of bitching because you have amounted to nothing take a night class.

Some of you might as well just go hang yourselves in a tree.

Yes. My ideal world would be one with many different types of cultures and countries where people could pick the one that best suited their belief systems but none could infringe on the the rights or beliefs of the others. Muslim extremists could have their land and live life they way they wanted to, anarchists could have their land and live the way they wanted to, and so on. every one would have the choice to leave or stay and choose another place if they found it didn't suit them, but that's just my dream world.

This is what you get in a society of complete corruption where anyone and anything can be bought. Lawmakers, courts and protection agencies are for sale to those able to afford their favors and nothing is off limits. Their greed allows the devastation seen today. Food additives and toxic chemicals that cause disease are found in most every product in use today. These products create very profitable illness for the pharmaceutical industry. Fictitious ailments like high cholesterol add even more profit to this. Further still is the useless vaccines.

This same scenario is played out in every possible industry. It's what pollutes the Earth and causes all the suffering. It breeds disease and death. It destroys small business and causes bankruptcy. It creates poverty and starvation. It perpetuates crime and imprisonment. And it's exactly how it's going to stay.
