The real question is: How long will we take crap like this and no do much but get in a huff about it and then get up from the computer and go watch TV?

How long will be let these scum continue to use us as test markets for different chemicals and substances in our food. Deny us real, whole food not laden with growth hormones, and pesticides?

How long before we make them understand that they need to sit down, and do what they were designed to do. NOT rule us like a bunch of serfs, and tell us what they want us to do, think, and eat?

So much is being taken away, so much more is in the works to be taken away. When will we draw the line, and tell them no more?

I miss real milk. no small dairy farms within 70 miles of me..

This is becoming a bigger reason whey I increasingly advocate to friends and strangers to become more self-sufficient in all aspects of life. This idea is easier for rural residence, but not difficult for suburban residence. In cities, its very limited unless you have some yard space, or can co-op with someone who does.

Grow organic, heirloom produce. Chickens and goats are dual purpose and don't require much space.

People need to stand up against the government trying to deny us truly nutritious products while mandating poisoning us with others.

In most cities you are not allowed to have chickens. Or goats. Unless you live outside city limits. In my small (~30K) city you cannot have more than 5 animals total and that includes birds, cats, dogs, and anything else. (I think they exempt small fish. :-)) I have a big garden, but if it even gets weedy my neighbor calls the city on me (looking over his 6' wood fence) and they come give me a warning to make it pretty or get a ticket. There really isn't much anybody in this city can do toward food except a garden. The only real store is walmart. All their chicken is up to 15% sodium/sugar/whatever "injection"; even whole turkeys are. It isn't cheap, either. Produce is mostly expensive and mostly sucks. If we ever have a food problem my whole city is doomed.

Actually this will help me when I ask my wife who wants to eat out. She never can make up her mind and when she does I never agree. So thanks Fed. for stepping in. More change we can believe in...

So, I could simply claim you are being socialist because you have actually controlled the display of the actual text the H.R. Bill and regulated to the people here of the thread what it supposedly says.

...What in the world are you talking about?... Sir, if you are going to discuss this topic please do so when you are sober. I am thinking you are not sober because what you just wrote makes no sense at all... I didn't control anything... I gave excerpts and links to what is being talked about.

Your inconherent response only tells me you have no real argument to give.

I didn't really care to hear the pro-republican rant. I just wanted to know where you found in the H.R. Bill that it tried to control food in the mannerism stated about the thread.

That "pro-republican" rant as you call it is what this nation is about... You would have known it if you had taken the time to read the Constitution, as well as the Declaration of Independence. I am not backing the neo-cons, which were on the left side of politics for decades and joined the Republican party only to infiltrate it, nor the corpocrats passing as Republicans.

Sorry Marg but you are wrong on this. The Feds are part of the government and as such this sort of control is Socialist. You think there is no production in Socialist, or Communist regimes? yes there is, but the state/government controls all forms of infraestructure, including food planting, harvesting, and production, which is what Socialism is all about.

Just take a good look at all the "world organizations" and you will see they all support Socialism and want to spread it, which is part of the reason why the U.S. has gotten so poor reviews in the past from these world organizations.

All of the officials of the Obama administration believe in Socialism, and even Communism, and it is for a reason that they want to give control, and the sovereignty of the U.S. to the UN, and other world organizations.
