666 on credit cards?

i had a weird inspiration and looked at my credit cards. out of 6, every single one had 3 or more 6's, 5 had 3.

for example:
my number is *6** ***6 **** ***9

on a credit card, a 6 is an upside down 9, so if you turn the card upside down you wil find the 3rd 6.

silly, but i found it to be true on every single one of my cards.

Hmm thats quite interesting. I think we need to study it in more depth. Do you think you could post your full credit card number and perhaps the rest of your bank details to see if it correlates. I'll need your name and address as well so that I can report my finding back to you. Just post them on here and I'll look into it.

with some people it is just a numbure.

I have a 6 on one of mine. And there are 2 sets of other numbers that when added together make the other 2 6's.

There are also 9's and 3's that can make 6's by subtraction.

It's a good thing I don't believe in the bible or heaven and hell as more than concepts or I might be screwed too.

I just realized that by using the numbers from several of my cards, I can add them all up to form 2012!

By the way...to the OP, a 6 is an upside down 9 no matter where it is....

what do we know about the number 6 well it comes after 5 and before 7.

LOL people get this 666 number like it truly means it is evil. Well if you think of it the real meaning of the number is of man. Man does evil things. so in essence man is the evil entity that causes harm to people.

The true number though found to be the evil is 616.

well its said somewhere (i think revelations) that a sign for the end of the world is that all trade will have the mark of the beast, which i though £9.99 might be something.
although QI tells us that 666 is incorrect as it is first written to be 616.

I just looked at mine and you are right. I have 6's on mine. I also have 9's. If I turn the 9's upside down then they become sixes. If I smooth out the edge of the four and put a loop at the bottom, it becomes a 9, which when I put upside down is a six! Good lord!

If I take the one, and put a half circle on it and turn flip it all the way over, it becomes a 6! If I take the three and take it's mirror image and then connect the bottom and middle sections, it becomes a... JESUS CHRIST!!

IF I TAKE MY COMPUTER AND IMAGINE IT IS A 6, IT BECOMES A 6. HOLY CRAP I JUST LOOKED IN THE MIRROR AND NOW I'M A 6. I WALKED OUT 6 AND 6 TO THE 666 .666.6.6.6.!16!^^^6666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666

When the words of the bible were written, western culture was not using Arabic numerals so there was no 666. At the time it was Roman numerals or Hebrew or Aramaic I believe, so it would have been Xl Xl Xl or something else perhaps though I am not sure what it would have been in Greek or Aramaic or Sumerian or Babylonian... does anyone disagree with this thought?

Postscript concerning my last posting above..... I had forgotten that what we call Arabic numbers actually came from India and is believed to have come into being around the 8th century AD, far later than the writings of the bible, so the number 666 would not have resembled what we now use.

i didn't mention anything about "evil" i just said 666.....

i know 616 is the chic new number, but the devil is in numbers period.....or was that G-d? i don't remember.....been a while since i've seen the movie Pi......I hope you don't take that flic seriously RIPieces....

Maybe your right. Perhaps the mark of the beast is money and the end of the world is the end of the system that gives this money value. If that happened a lot of people would go down with it. Heh interesting.....

Cut it in pieces... not because of the 666, which was creepy.. I decline all their invitations to debt.
