I think this place is a joke because people post without bothering to do any research, learn any facts, or read anything on ANYTHING before posting..

It really makes it hard to take this place seriously when there is such rampant ignorance plaguing the forums.. Ironic that the motto around here is to deny it.. Perhaps the best way to do that is log off and read a damn book (and not a fiction one).

You all don't really understand that it just goes in circles. Learn about something new and it's so new and hot. Ooooh check it out hot new information. But it's actually old news to someone else. And you will join them as it's passed on and on. Never to be accepted by the masses.
These are times of much needed action. No more games, no excuses or reasons of granger. People need to die and that's the only way to make our lives actually worth their true worth. Free to be happy in this world.

Now back to your useless slave role

I don't really understand what you're saying, other than we should all start killing wantonly in the street? (that's not going to help ATS's image...)

[edit on 30-4-2010 by Kaytagg]

LOL, I didn't even read this post but yeah the guy has a point. We are becoming slaves who are not allowed to take our own initiative anymore. It is immoral for a society to do this to its people, period. And anyone who cares about their neighbors, themselves, their friends, their families or the people will have to take this side. The only people that should logically like what is going on are those doing the power play. Democracts and liberals should remember their roots... the people.

Do you want to go back into working in factories as slaves getting barely enough money to buy cheap pizzas at Wal-Mart and go back to the apartment you rent with five other people, turn on the TV and watch the required brainwashing for the day? Is this what liberalism's vision for a better America has become? Where is the party of the people? Do you know what's worse than being slaves? Being slaves and thinking that it's your duty.

Is it time for revolution? No. There is too much speculation going on. It is somewhat possible that Obama and his cronies will pull out a health care bill that will actually give better health insurance to the masses, save the economy, and whatever else they promised and that the Repubs are spinning a story that doesn't exist.

Basically, in my opinion, one of the best things to do is let the Obama and cronies power play go all the way in order to show the world its true form. Then, when it falls, possibly under its own corrupt weight, there will be no doubt what it stood for. However, at this point, I start to wonder how dumb people are, how much they will tolerate and still worship the guy, I mean... I can't actually think of anything he could do, no matter how horrible, that his followers would actually criticize.

so glenn beck lies through his teeth for money, including lying to americans trying to get them to buy gold while getting money from the biggest company in the US that buys it...and I'm supposed to take this seriously?

it would be great if any of these links worked but not much.

maybe I'd consider this if his whole act didn't sound rehearsed, rehashed, oh and uh retarded. sound effects didn't help much either

another case of "OMG OBAMA CONSPIRACY STUPID LEFTYZ LIBZ OPEN YOUR EYEZ LOL" when all the accusations from extremely right wing sources.

congratz on getting duped by the same group of swindlers...again.

only total idiots say that democrats and liberals "worship" obama. most of us on the left aren't into his bi-partisanship at all, and have a reasonable list of grievances unlike the right who seem to make up some BS story about him every month.

2 fake kenyan birth certificates, 1 fake viral death panel claim, and a whole network of liars doesn't seem to stop him from getting the job done.

Don't forget socialism, "ties to terrorists," he's a muslim, George Soros "owns" him (I guess like a slave?), he's trying to bankrupt the coal industry, he's taking over the banks, and GM, he has appointed emperor communist "czars" to run various sections of the economy/government, he doesn't know 'mainstream america,' he's a fascist, he's going to force everybody into his "youth corps," he's 'hitlarian,' he's a communist, he's a progressive, he's a liberal, he's a 'far left' liberal, etc..

Yea, it's kind of ridiculous, when you think about it..

Too bad the right wing is so fragmented, and represented by complete frauds and cynics.. Maybe republicans could piece together some real complaints, into an actual list, which could be critically analysed.. I think most of the left would probably agree with what the non-crazy section of the right wants changed..

They have to bypass their republican masters, in order to do that, though.. seems like the tea party was a good attempt at it, but I really doubt anything will come of it.

Sad day when a man that makes a good point and people simply hate him so much that they won't even acknowledge the point made. It goes both ways and I am afraid that the divide and conquer method has completely overtaken this country. Reps and dems are one in the same and people are simply to blind to wake up. This scandal runs back to the previous administration as well if that helps you guys acknowledge the truth. /sigh

No, we'll be shocked if Glenn Pecker ever comes up with anything other than insane ramblings.

No surprises that the other media outlets (bad though they are) haven't covered it. The only place it exists is in his delusional mind, and his even more delusional fans "minds".

[edit on 29-4-2010 by whateverpedia]

We should judge all news by who is feeding it to us. We should never look at the issue only at the man or woman feeding it to us.

This is your way of thinking is it not?

We should close our eyes when we listen to stories and pretend the person does not exist. We should take the issue for what it is worth not the person telling it.

Glen Beck is so hated but does that mean everything he says is a lie what if he is right on this. This story is not about him. Don't you see that?

It's not the MSM we should be judging that is my point. Even the devil can tell the truth. We need to see past the people pushing the agenda and look at the agenda for what it is.

Is this so wrong? I always thought this was such a simple truth most people understood it. Well I guess we do live in America the land of the sheep.

Someone get this guy off TV before he divides America more than it already is..

I am always amazed at those who would silence anyone else. Those who cant argue facts always want the other guy to shutup.

If beck gets anything factually wrong, Eric Holder will have him is handcuffs before the end of the show.

God Bless Glenn Beck and whoever is running his security detail......

Kaytagg, I think you are getting to the root of the problem. And not just read one side, read both sides of a discussion. And read intellectually stimulating material, not just emotionally stimulating material whose authors write opinions.

Heck, it used to be that to be a debater, you had to be able to argue BOTH sides; in other words, to argue effectively, you had to know the good/bad points of both sides.

An example. I have good, decent, highly educated immediate family/in-laws/colleagues who for three decades now have read either only what their church said to read, then watched only Fox News, or listened to only right wing radio commentators.

Most family/in-laws refuse to even discuss any other viewpoint; to them, you're either going to Hell anyway or you're just wrong, period. Colleagues have been more open for discussion, conducted civilly.

In fact, with one person recently, I was able to share some facts with him that brought us to common agreement; I admit, though, my surprise at his lack of knowledge for such an intelligent person (sadly an American phenomena), yet our discussion did not degrade into name-calling or rudeness.

I guess, bottom was pointed out in Someone336's prior post, this was already written about last year.

There is nothing going on here..look the other

Obama named to be the founder of Chicago Climate Exchange

While serving with Weather Underground bomber Bill Ayers' brother, John Ayers, on the Board of the Joyce Foundation in Chicago (1994-2002), then state Senator in Illinois, Barack Obama, funded the establishment of the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX). The Head of the CCX quotes the future worth of the annual business of the CCX at TEN TRILLION DOLLARS, 2/3 of the worth of the trading of all American businesses on the financial exhanges per year (FIFTEEN TRILLION DOLLARS).
Who owns the CCX? Fifty percent ownership is GOLDMAN SACHS. Another 10% is owned by an outfit out of London which includes Al Gore, David Blood/Goldman Sachs, + 3-4 other former Goldman Sachs executives
How did the CCX get major funding from 2002-2010? Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are heavily invested in the CCX.
The CCX stands to make its 10 TRILLION DOLLARS per year once Obama gets the Congress to unwittingly pass the infamous Cap & Trade Bill, personally crafted and overseen by Obama and his cronies

All this info has been documented, but has been TOTALLY ignored by Media and others, protecting the President. Welcome to the new America everyone. Nixon was Impeached on a hell of alot less...

Rather than single out anyone here, all I can say is "For shame!"

The kneejerk reaction to the use of the name OBAMA in the title (though not by the OP's choice of course) guaranteed the reactions that we have seen here... all of which deflect the message in deference to the messenger.

The reaction by those who criticize ATS because they are speaking of this and considering the information speaks volumes about why people are here.

Some of you must begin (sooner rather than later) to accept that the source of the OP is a legitimate element of the story. It is clear that bias is injected into nearly everything the media PRODUCES for PROFIT. Similarly, to deny the information merits examination seems an utterly useless stand and may even gravitate towards the wreckless.

If there is more information relevant to the OP - SHARE IT. If the information in the OP is incorrect - SHOW IT.

I think it is safe to say that no one gives a hoot about how you 'feel' about a person when we are not talking about that person. This isn't about Glen Beck, nor President Obama, nor Al Gore, nor any other celebrity - it is about institutionalized corruption and entrenched racketeering.

Coming onto a thread to rant about your emotional take on any individual or group of individuals is neither productive nor useful - assuming we all agree that to know more is better than to know less.

Facts are stubborn things, despite all the ancilliary emotions and platitudes, the preconceptions and honorable desires. Facts remain, some can muster the personal flexibility to ignorantly dance around them, but they remain for all to see. Ignore the dance, listen to the music.

I wish Mr. Beck had been reviewing the ATS website many months ago, when people were talking about this subject. It may have persuaded him that his "news" and "shocking" discovery were neither "new", "shocking", nor HIS discovery at all. And I firmly contend that it is not confined to people of a particular political club. It is a function of the political machinery which is a SINGLE entity... The so-called two-party system has been taking turns feeding off the "human resources" of this nation since it's moral usurpation at the turn of the 20th century. Ironically, the parasitical relationship is nothing more than a 'reward' to the political elite for conforming to the supranational bank cartel's "vision" of how our world is to work....

S&F Missy,

Good for you to post this on ATS,

Shame on the ones who pop in to the same old bashing, when your presenting something that was just aired on live t.v. this week.

Move along if you don't care for the topic, there's plenty of other posts you can invade. Better yet create your own thread and vent.

Go Missy!!

And a
