Attack on Christians?

Why all of a sudden is there a rush of attacks on God and Jesus at this site. And also why the promotion of Satan and Lucifer?

Do I sense an agenda here? Is there a conspiracy at ATS?

In case you forgot, ATS is a hodgepodge of ideals and beliefs... there is no "recent attack", it has always been like this. Christianity isn't the only religion being brought down either.

There's no sudden "rush". It's always been the way.

One minute it's anti-this or anti-that and no sooner than somenoe changes their underpants it's pro-this and pro-that

If anything leads to a more apparent spate of attacks on a particular group, it's more than likely that group has been in the news or media for something and those that oppose it, voice their opinions.

And for some that are very much against it, it's all they need to jump on board.

I wouldn't say it's specifically Christian based. People here are equally vindictive!

Really? Got any links to threads about why the god of Islam doesn't exist, the Koran is full of lies, or believers of new age secular humanism are brainwashed idiots? Nope.

By the way, my favorite Christianity attack on this site is when a post is about a group of muslims torturing and killing someone for something like wearing pants in public, and then some enlgihtened individual says something like "that's why religion is bad, blah blah blah its all about control of masses..." which then turns the thread to "fundamentalist Christians are more dangerous..." Cowards.

Most of it is the whole "there is no religion" talks and the denial of god.

No need to provide examples as one could go to the associated forums and see for themselves examples.

you are falling into the trap of religious hate
the common man or woman regardless of their faith just wants to live in peace.
but there are people of great wealth that can see no profit in peace and so they stir up and invent unrest and they do this because there is profit to be made in war and hate.

Maybe it has something to do with the rampant pedophilia, subsequent cover-ups, and the disgusting response from the 'vessel of god on earth.'

I was asking the same type of question too in another thread and was told the majority of ATSers are Christian, so the atheists go after them.

Islam has been gone after too, but most of that is done by other religious people, not the atheists.

As jokei pointed out, it seems many groups attack other groups all the time. It would be interesting if all the groups tried to find out a bit about the others before attacking, including learning a bit about Christianity.
