Suspect shoots 3 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, kills self

KNOXVILLE (WATE) -
Officials say a suspect shot three people at Parkwest Medical Center in
West Knoxville Monday afternoon, then died of a self-inflicted gunshot
wound.

The information comes from Knoxville Police Department spokesman
Darrell DeBusk.

No names or conditions have been released. DeBusk said police don't
know if there's any connection between the suspect and the shooting
victims.

The incident was first reported with multiple 911 calls at 4:34 p.m. at
the hospital at 9352 Park West Boulevard. It happened outside a door
at the patient discharge center.
