I'm posting this from my phone so I hope it works. This report blew my mind.

It is the skeletal skull of a sturgeon. Is this guy really serious or teasing about not knowing what it is? Curious that.

Good call vance, definitely looks similar to a sturgeon skull, whatever it is it doesn't look all that out of the ordinary:

Hmm, it does look similar but its not exact. Maybe an unknown breed of sturgeon? It was interesting at least.

According to this article/blog on Cryptomundo the skull was an old Tuna skull.

Green fancily talked about it maybe being an alien, dragon, or a dinosaur.

Work said it is an old tuna skull.

End of that non-story.

Interesting. I went hunting for a picture of a tuna skull when I read this. To someone unfamiliar with fish skeletons, like myself, it looks really freaky:

Just look at that thing.. imagine finding that on land, you'd have people making up all sorts of monsters for it.

I have yet to see really good photos of this.

The way I have seen it displayed, I don't think it is a skull. No good place to connect a neck in a way I recognize - from the pictures I've seen.

I think its a vertebrae.

I can confirm this is a fish skull of some sort. No idea what it was, but it's definitely a fish head. And to the person who wondered how the vertebrae connect, a fish's skull has natural gill plates that obscure the base of the spine from most angles.

Mind posting a link to a known picture of a sturgeon skull, so we can compare? Not saying you are wrong, just would be nice to have something to look at.
