After a solar storm strikes the Earth a geomagnetic storm erupts. The increased magnetic field strength of the magnetosphere pushes down on the ionosphere, which pushes against the oceans. It is due to the electromagnetic properties of sea water that the oceans become temporarily heavier. The extra heaviness of the sea water, coupled with the daily tidal forces of the Sun and Moon cause greater than normal forces to press against both the eastern and western boundaries of the Pacific Plate, but more so the western boundary in the South Pacific Islands region.

Below are earthquake maps showing global earthquakes of magnitude 5 or greater for the five days following a geomagnetic storm. Notice the clear pattern of quakes in the South Pacific Islands region along with activity around the Pacific Rim. There is also a clear pattern of earthquake activity along the fault running from Greece to the Pacific Plate.

The five dates selected below were the first five dates I found for geomagnetic storms and were selected completely at random. There is a list of solar storms where you can choose a date and check the earthquake database yourself to verify this theory. www.terracycles.com... go down and over on the left side and go to Earth-Sun-Galaxy once there it will say Earth ( 13 Articles )

Usually, the shockwave from a CME strikes Earth within 15mins of the even to a fews later. It's electrically charged pressure waves alter that of our Magnetosphere. Much of the time, our Magnetosphere could deflect it, but there were a couple of recorded times it did not, and penetrated through it, disrupting and interfering with Earth's electrical systems.

However, in recent times, the solar cyclic activities had increased and is stronger, so too are its effects. It may be more than electrical systems it affects and may be interfering with our planet's core, which is a dynamo itself and generates a field of its own.

Started back in March, there was an experiment to see if the combined human electric and human electromagnetic field could complement our magnetosphere as a shield against solar winds of high energy particles bombarding our planet, culminating and ended on Earth hour 27th Mar.

There is not enough scientific evidence to claim that CME will cause Earthquakes, but equally, there is not enough evidence to claim that CME DOES NOT cause Earthquakes. Geomagnetic storms cause auroras, and such 'changes to the skies' had been observed in quake hit areas prior to devastation.

While there was no conclusive evidence that the experiment worked, the CME on the 15th Mar did not do damage to California, Japan and Sri Lanka. No lives were lost. On the 25th Mar Manila suffered a 6.0 Earthquake, and yet no lives were lost.

The recent Earthquake in China had seen a terrible loss of lives, many of them only innocent kids. I hope that with the next announcement of a CME, let us all - of the religious faiths, the spiritual beliefs, and atheist creed, come together and try out the experiment again. We are all human first, before our differences set us apart, but yet one race....
