Why don't people believe in extraterrestrial life?

For the same reason some dont believe in a God...if you cant see it...why believe in it?

I believe in possibilities...but I cant make a fact out of something I dont know.

I have experience some things that show me there is more to this life...so I do have faith in a 'higher power'. I have not experience a alien or a UFO that I KNOW is not something of our own or some sort of spiritual nature....so I leave it all with a open mind.

I dont say they dont exist....but I also dont say that I know they do.

That's a good way of putting it... "I believe in the possibility of ET life, but can't be sure".

I do believe more in the possibility of ET life in general than I do the possibility that ET is visiting the Earth simply because the basic "existence" of ET requires less for ET to "do" (i.e., ET only needs to *exist* to exist, but to visit the Earth requires much more effort on ET's part.)
