I don't consider it "lying" per-say.

Its more like not telling the entire truth.

He isn't lying by his statements, as in telling an untruth. At best it could be considered a lie by omission of the facts.

And for clarity - I do not support this; I simply understand why he's doing it.

Lets take an example:

Reporter: "Do you support the war in Afghanistan?"

Me: "I think government has an absolute responsibility to protect its borders and national sovereignty from attack by terrorists or anyone else. I think the most important role of government is national defense. In fact I think its the primary reason the founding fathers put the federal government together."


Now, that is a non-answer hahahaha

It sounds like I support the war in Afghanistan, but I never said that.

What I just said is a typical Rand response to that question.

I don't really believe that Rand Paul is a Neo-Con, but that is the question being raised here, and my point was that either way I'm not going to support the guy.

As for me "pointing out" that I am a socialist: you bet, I'm not at all ashamed of it, I believe it to be the best hope that humanity has for progress, liberty and standard of living. In the United Kingdom and Canada being socialist is not really something that people generally hide but instead take pride in.

This is nothing more than YOUBOOB research! It's interesting only in that it is done very badly!

You are entitled to your opinions, as wrong, brutal, and coercive as they may be.

However, you are not entitled to my property or labor. Sending government goons to do your biding rather than doing it yourself shows weakness on your part.

If you want my loot, you should be man enough to attempt to take it yourself, rather than sending a police force or army to take it from me.

That's weird. Trey Greyson, Paul's opponent in the primary, has a website saying much the opposite about Paul.
