You know what is pathetic? Does anyone wonder how religious wars start? It’ by the intolerance and lack of respect for the secular beliefs of your fellow man. Nobody is forcing you to believe anything and you are free to believe anything you wish. However look at the lack of respect and mockery of many posting in this thread, to me it’s a sad thing. I realize many of you are attempting to be funny with your witty comments but at what cost?

I understand the definition of satire and mockery; how you apply it to this thread and some of its comments depends on your perspective. I think it’s safe to say that many people reading this thread consider it mockery as do I. What seems fun and innocent to you obviously isn’t to others, knowing that people should reconsider their position and what they post in an attempt to have the smallest amount of respect for others.

There is a difference between mockery and satire. One is hurtful, the other lets us laugh at ourselves and ease tension. Loosen up people.
