IANA is Internet Assigned Numbers Authority, they oversee IP addresses all over the world.

Yeah I read that. I just thought that it was a coincidence that the numbers were in the same layout as an ip address.

How did you get an IP address from the above numbers?

Its to long for starters.

well not knowing the format of ip's but seeing the dots and spaces I just typed them into an ip search, and was surprised to get a result. Awfully sorry if it turns out to be a bum steer, as we say here.

IP addy's are xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx max lenght with 255 as the max value, in other words 255.255.255.255 is the max IP number notation, except if its IPv6(wich is currently not yet internet available)

ARIN propably cut it of and moved the .'s to make it fit.

Well Ive just checked again and as your model shows if the spaces are removed it can be an ip address without cutting any thing off.
Four groups of three numbers under 255.
But I do now think it unlikely to be the answer to the riddle. The spaces probably mean we are looking for words.
