ask deep "1.9.7 1.11.5 2.4.1 2.12.8"

Doesn't work by itself, so its some sort of crypto again.

four groups of three numbers could be dates.

I have no doubt that you can work that one out mathematically.

I gave it a quick shot but got blown down.

Maybe from some religious book, like the bible again.

Wouldn't be the first time I've seen quotes from koran, bible and other books.

I don't have any of those available here though.

Even the fridge, microwave and stove are already at the new house, only thing still here is my putters and me

It would only limit it to verse of the bible. Genisis 9:7 ext.

The Koran's first book doesn't even have a line 9.

Two holy books right out.

But I like chapter, verse, word of looking at it for holy books, a 3 word phrase makes sense. could 1 &2 be page numbers?

According to arin who is, it is an ip address run by Iana.org but all that means nothing to me not being computer minded.
Maybe it will mean more to one of you guys maybe not.

IANA is Internet Assigned Numbers Authority, they oversee IP addresses all over the world.

Yeah I read that. I just thought that it was a coincidence that the numbers were in the same layout as an ip address.

How did you get an IP address from the above numbers?
IP address format is #.#.#.#
4 sets of numbers seperated by "."
The above numbers are #.#.# #.#.# #.#.# #.#.#
Not an IP format.

well not knowing the format of ip's but seeing the dots and spaces I just typed them into an ip search, and was surprised to get a result. Awfully sorry if it turns out to be a bum steer, as we say here.

IP addy's are xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx max lenght with 255 as the max value, in other words 255.255.255.255 is the max IP number notation, except if its IPv6(wich is currently not yet internet available)

ARIN propably cut it of and moved the .'s to make it fit.

silly children.

i have already solved it and have the clue and am now ahead of you.

to prove to you, the final two words of the new information you get when you solve it is: "enter where"

this one was easy.

and you should stay away from Cerberus. but you are all so weak-minded, I'm sure you won't follow my recommendation.

Well Ive just checked again and as your model shows if the spaces are removed it can be an ip address without cutting any thing off.
Four groups of three numbers under 255.
But I do now think it unlikely to be the answer to the riddle. The spaces probably mean we are looking for words.

How did you get two five letter words from two three digit clues

I read iit like that first too, it's not a clue. Just a taunt. When we finally get to the deep page when we solve the clue, those are the last two words there. He's just proving he got there first.

yeah that looks right.
Interesting though he just validated Cerberus.
Who I was convinced was a hoaxer. If he had been a hoaxer -5- would have slipped on his HUNT ADMIN uniform and said so.
