This is not really an ATS thread, because it is so obvious.

If you want your life to have meaning, help someone else.

Do not worry about things over which you have no control - earthquakes, wars, politicians etc - just help someone - even if you help someone cross the street.

That is what gives our lives meaning.

Just live for today and try to do good.

You, my fine friend, have put your insightful finger on one very vital resource that each of us has nearly total control over.

Thanks so much. I affirm what you have said with all of my experience and being.

It makes the meaning of life a GOOD one, as well.

I 100% agree with you. It's about time we start helping each other out! People are so fixated with war and politics that they forget we are all the same race: Human

totally agree, Ive been out of work for some time, but a few weeks ago, i decided to join a voulunteering service and am now mentoring a young lad who has had a difficult upbringing and learning difficulties. I look forward to our meetings and although it's still early days, i hope I can make a positive difference

People are very nice - I think we have got too buried in doom and gloom but actually, most people are great.

We just have to remember that we are great!
