The Governator has some rather sharp words for his caucus.

Source

"Well, you know, to me I find it interesting that you have a lot of the Republicans running around and pushing back on the stimulus money and saying this doesn't create any new jobs, and then they go out and they do the photo ops and they are posing with the big check and they say, isn't this great?" he said. "Look what the kind of -- the kind of money I provide here for the state, and this is great money to create jobs, and this has created 10,000 new jobs and this has created 20,000 new jobs. And all of these kind of things. It doesn't match up."

Sucks when one of the most honest american politician isn't even a naturally born citizen.

Schwarzenegger could have turned Californa around. But he contiued the practices of the far left California legistature. Now he has a lower approval rating than Gray Davis, the guy they recalled.

articles.sfgate.com...

Governor's approval rating 27%

When they pass round two of the Stimulus Bill (This time they will call it "The Jobs Bill") Schwarzenegger will be the first holding out his hand.

Actually, he will be there with the rest of the Reps, holding out their hands....again.

Call it what you wil, but focus on the subject of the thread...really try and focus here...he is calling out the Reps doing one thing while saying something else...taking money and presenting it to their states while going to washington and postulate on television that they are against it and lying about how its helping their state.

my god man, focus...remove those conservaclouds from your brain for a half second and say simply "The mans right...these jacktards need to answer for their clear hypocracy"...come on, you can do it.

nevermind...blind propaganda in 3..2..

Actually, lets see if our statesmen are for the stimulus plan by a very simple graph:

Do the politicians believe the stimulus creates or saves jobs in their district
In Washington At Home
Dems: Yes Yes
Reps No Yes

There ya have it, a 75% ratio of saying it creates or saves jobs...glad to see the right is on board...unless of course the Reps are simply lying, but who are they lying to, the washington cameras or the people they are supposed to represent?

thanks for playing.

Some oppose it and take the money. Then work on preventing it from happening again.

Schwarzenegger approves of it and wants more.

The Repubicans Schwarzenegger condemns are wrong on one part. Schwarzenegger is wrong on both parts.

That is the worst, most ridiculously asinine statement i've ever read on these forums.

You're either for it, or you're against it.

If you're against it and still take it, regardless of what state you govern - you're a hypocrite.

If you're a person who supports that person for being a hypocrite, well, there are words to describe you too.

If you say "it wont create jobs" and denounce it, saying its bad for your state

but then accept it, go to some photo ops and say "this created 20,000 new jobs"

If a governor says "no thanks, your money is no good here" then turns around, and says gives the money away to people in his state, soaking up all the praise, then that man or woman is an idiot and is fully deserving of a swift kick to the rear end.

Mod Edit - Clarifcation.

You're giving way too much power to a Governor of a State. Simply saying "We reject the money" isn't going to work. Much like Federal Government, States also have balance of powers.

CIVICS 101

Besides if they turned down the money, Schwarzenner had already made the comment that he would gladly take it. So why refuse it, knowing it could go to this wacko? Lord knows it wouldn't go back to reducing the debt, it would be spent one way or another.

BTW....I am the one alerting your post.

Maybe it should make you feel better if I said His ancestors made it possible America is what it is now ( US )

He's also one of the few, who actually lives the American dream.
Which is all the way in here still seen as the ultimate way of adjusting or fitting in.

The terminator is a Republican in name only. he's part of the Kennedy clan.

He has done nothing about the job killing rules and regulation that are killing jobs in Calif.
He has even added more democratic supported job killing laws to the point companies are leaving Calif as fast as they can.

The worst part is that when people vote in November they won't care about issues or records and will vote for the (R) because Fox news told them to.

Actually, the Dems are the ones who are living in denial.

They gladly accept the money because they use it to buy votes.

But then they use it to irrigate golf courses and other such nonsense. They try to sell it as 'creating or saving jobs', when the fact is, unemployment is at 10%/17%.

A large chunk of the Stimulus cash will be released shortly before the elections. Why? So the Dems can buy votes. Watch and see.

He is the ever feared republican progressive. This is why the republicans are failing and also why the democrats are failing it comes down to one word--PROGRESSIVES--- they are all playing for the same team and that team has the end of freedom in it's target. To bad they build themselves up on lies and fear and hate. After this go round in history they will truly never be able to stick out there heads again. This is there last stand

Ahnold is a joke. He grabbed power by virtue of personal popularity and being married to a Kennedy after Gray was recalled in a recall election that had everyone, their mother and their mother's domestic short hair cat tossing their hat in the ring.

Hypocrisy, double talk and double standards are the norm for both "sides"but when you get right down to it, there is no such thing as a democrat or republican any more. You've got progressives, radicals and blue dogs on the left and neo-cons bible thumpers and traditional conservatives on the right. A mixture of different ideologies and beliefs marketed under one of two brands.

As far as their morals or how much they actually care about their constituents, they're virtually indistinguishable. The majority of them will tell you just what you want to hear in order to get elected then follow the money trail once they're in office.

It's no different than a family that's always bought GM, Ford or Chrysler regardless of how crappy their product has become. They blindly buy the same brand, simply because it's what they've always done.

Lefties, quit knocking on righties because your party is far from pure as the driven snow. Righties, quit knocking on lefties because you lost the chance to wear white at your wedding with GWB.

hmm, we seem to have a conundrum on our hands.

You claim he has the power to destroy the state
others claim he has no power at all

i wonder which it is?

He's a republican when he says things like this:

but you hate him when he says things like this:

So he doesn't stick to the idiot republican dogma
and he doesn't stick to the idiot democrat dogma

hmm, sounds to me like the governator is one of the best politicians in this country! I guess this is one occasion where i'll agree with John McCain:

We should change the constitution so Arnold can run for president

Well here's the conundrum: if the money is going to be spent (ie wasted) in other districts anyways, why would the Republican politicians turn it down? Their people could benefit somehow from the money even if it doesn't actually create any new jobs.

I watched the one gov, I think in North or South Carolina talk about how he was going to refuse any stimulus money. Well I agree with him, I think it's a waste, but he has millions of people in his state that are saying "Hey, if the money is out there let us get some instead of our portion just going to other states." It's a hard sell.

But the money *IS* creating new jobs....the governors themselves are saying so

Whichever governor who is first to refuse all federal funding, refuse to send any money in any form to the federal government even the federal income taxes of his states residents and issues a shoot on sight order for any federal employee be they a tax man, ATF man, or highway safety man I'll move to that governors state immediately.

All of these authoitarians are the same. Every minute spent bickering about the false parties is a minute longer living in chains.
