A mysterious band has been putting out strange YouTube snippets under the title "iamamiwhoami" for the past couple of months, but no one knows who the band is or what the coded videos mean.

Four clips have been uploaded so far by a user called “iamamiwhoami”, the longest is 82 seconds and the shortest runs at 63 seconds. The clips are dark, weird and show a muddy-faced blonde singer. The music, meanwhile, is electronic and nods towards the experimental without being too alienating. The title of each clip is a simple numerical code, the latest of which spells “Mandragora”.

While not quite on the scale of the whole Internet mystery, iamamiwhoami has lots of music bloggers trying to guess his/her/their identity.

Sadly, it didn't rise high enough to tickle my "who cares" float and so the water is still running in the toilet.
Although that was an "unusually large and attractive goat"...

How did you figure the numerical code out? And when were these posted to YouTube? Also, the white line drawings of animals on a black background may have some significance.

The characters of the alphabet.
Each video has link towards another video (different users.).

But these are just videos of the animals. From what I can tell.

It's a pretty #ty mystery with not much go on but I think it's Christina Aguilera. You'll know if it's her sooner or later because her album Bionic comes out soon.

ahh, viral marketing at its finest (and weirdest).

Not a conspiracy though...just the new way of getting noticed.

I wont make any assumptions, but I wouldnt be suprised if OPs was the video creator here trying to make a air of mystery about this person to better boost the niche target market.

Not that I find that bad mind you...but it is sort of more worthy of belowtopsecret than here.

Either Xtina or Lady Gaga
if not any of them
it's someone from Scandinavia

Creepy.

Looks like Lady GaGa to me, especially with the tree-licking.

Maybe she's been hanging with Trent Resnor?

I am surprised and shocked by the responses to this thread... Even if it is Christina you all should be ashamed to post like this. Dispelling these videos as nothing but viral marketing is ignorant and foolish, why not dig deeper into it.

Obvious is such a suspicious word to use, but it is fairly easy to recognize details in the videos pertaining to deeper ideals. With all the videos being produced by these enigmatic media leaders like Gaga or Jay Z that lead to layers of suspicious interpretation, why jump the gun and say nothing here... just look on google, pay no attention to what's behind the viral marketing.

These kind of responses I say again are purely ignorant. Its not some announcement about the end of the world, or other forms of sensationalism that draws people apparently even on this media outlet, but it is interesting to say the least.

I am who I am I... no nothing here, not a current media giant or giant to be announcing his or her role of political power over the mob mass of ignorant sheep; or reinforcing the thought of knowledge, over and above, maybe even secret to what people currently know; maybe the fluidity of power and force within the old realm of the deep, definitely not presenting the idea of a rapture of ideas or concepts that have already left us and could be losing even more of in the future... nothing of these concepts could be related to the sheep, the owl, the whale, or the bee.

I hope and expect so much more from you people, this is the land of the devil (not the literal devil though thats where some of you went I'm sure), the biggest form of media on the planet; the internet is their domain that we have access to and have some control over, this is a war we are already in don't loose it by pushing it off to be nothing more than your simple ideas of "marketing".

Don't you think that is interesting that both the goat and the bee have symbolic ties to Freemasonry...

Masonic goat god called Baphome which is a representation of the universal union between positive and negative energies.

The phrase "Ride the Goat" is actually based on a misreading of an acronym used by Freemasons. The Supreme Being, having many names in the different religions of the world, is referred to by Masons as the "Great Architect of the Universe", abbreviated G.A.O.T.U. . You can readily see how the word "goat" is derived from this abbreviation.

The beehive is often recognized as being a symbol of Freemasonry, usually to denote the quality of being industrious. However, there is more of a connection than you may have considered in the past. For example, let’s take a look at the life cycle of a female worker bee. She begins her adult life by working in the hive. Similarly, an Operative Entered Apprentice spends his first seven years laboring in the quarries, while a Speculative Entered Apprentice spends the first part of his Masonic career listening and learning.
After the Operative Apprentice Mason is promoted to a Fellow Craft, he is thought to have learned enough to hone and specialize in a particular skill, and so on and so on..

Again, there is a correlation to the stage of life for Masonry.

A lot of stuff going on in these videos.

The real question is-

How the hell did this media device get so far into your head that you got up to help advertise it?

This type of information is best reserved for a lunch room in high-school.

Unfiction has a few threads on this.

They are specialists in playing ARGs (Alternate Reality Games - especially ones from New Zealand
).

Have a read here and here.

I'd recommend keeping the non conspiracy theories out of ATS and ARGs in Unficiton.

If you like it that much I'll introduce you over there - They've got some really good volunteer experts in symbology, encryption, history, effective marketing and a whole bunch of other stuff. Go have a look, it's fun to play these things and figure them out.

Just not on ATS as this is a conspiracy site and not a playground for viral marketing.

Wow..shockingly surprising hobby you have there.

In my boring down time I am looking into these ARGs and wondering how you keep sane.

Very crazy stuff...thanks for sharing it this way.
