We can't even open the door without snow falling in. And bless our plow drivers and keep them safe, they have pulled miracles and kept the roads clear. Anyone who lives in this area can attest that is a miracle.
But as far as getting out of my driveway, that is another story.
We broke our snowblower!
Now that is a blizzard.

I can truley say I have never seen so much snow in my life, and I grew up in PA.

Those little sticks are whats left of our tomato plants by the way. That are in a planter! That little bird has been sitting there for an hour looking kinda godsmacked.

Three words: Our poor trees.

There are branches snapping down all over the place.

This has to be one of the nastiest snow storms I've seen in the past ten years, hopefully we are done with this crap after this one. At last measurement there was 21" of snow out front, however that was in the morning and its been coming down all day since then so I don't even want to think about how much there is now.

Helig, I am trying to figure out what is underneath that pile in your first picture.

If it isn't a car, can we play a guessing game?

Our government changed our website, side roads will be ignored, only main roads taken care of for ER vehicles. Airports are shut down.

Maybe I will be out of work on Monday.

Oh, I am going to make a comment for all the geeky nature people like me.Green Nerd alert:

When you have the only bird food source around, the variety is amazing. I figured it would be tough, I put out some suet, and cleared around the feeder, and sprinkled extra seed around.

The variety has been amazing. Cardinals, woodpeckers, finches, sparrows, a mourning dove. OH anda blue jay.

I'm pissed Wisconsin didn't get hit by a giant snow storm this year

I love blizzards, they're the best.

Wisconsin hasn't had any snow?

That is where my fam is from. Waukesha. My mum has told me stories about trick or treating in snow pants.

So I am surprised that you haven't had much snow.

Unless......

what do you consider a snowstorm? *laughs*

Massachusetts has missed this snow storm so far. We have had enough of our own. I don't get nervous driving in it until it gets to double digits... 24 inches is out of control, you all have my sympathies. I hope you keep your power.

the Ice storm a year ago last December was awful with power outages for days and weeks in some areas.

Stay warm and be safe.

I went out to try and get a picture of a snowflake, but Ontario has none.

One of the strangest winters we have ever seen.
So far we only used the shovel once, and the stairs just required the broom a few times.

GLOBAL WARMING IN SOUTHERN ONTARIO.........

Not just the south. In Northern Ontario, there is very little as well.

A strange winter indeed.

We have less than half what we should have up north here too Anx.
The ski hills and snowmobile shops are crying fowl.

Our state is in panic mode because we barrelled through the winter removal budget after the big storm in December.

Our state is already broke, billions in debt, laying off 200 people, and now furloughing us 10 days this year.

So now they are scrambling to try to find money for all this snow removal.

There are also major space issues, there are walls of snow all around parking lots and sidewalks.

Gives me a whole new appreciation for people who live in snowy areas. IT is a real pita.

Wannna take out the garbage? Now I got to get coats on, go shovel my way to the can, knock the 2 feet of snow off the can. And then I can put the trash bag in. Shovel the driveway, find a space on the curb to put your stuff.

To have to do this constantly.....blech

I recently propositioned my husband about moving to Canada. (better healthcare) and he simply said: too cold.

Hahahaha now I know what he means.
