Very nice. I was gonna mention them. Beat me to them. Don't forget about Balzac, Gallhammer, L-Arc-En_Ciel, and the legendary Merzbow.

I might be cheating a little but I think at least one of them was born in Japan.

Here are my favorite Japanese hip-hop tracks from Nujabes and Uyama Hiroto - very respected names even in American underground hip-hop!

When I was stationed in Japan, a CD that made the rounds was by a band named "Me and My" (could be Me and Mine)... anyways, I have never been able to track them down for the life of me.

If any of you Japanese music fans can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure it's Japanese? Could it perhaps be Danish? Maybe it's already been posted in the Danish music thread? Anyway, there's a Me & My video posted there. Here it is. Is that it?

Wow, that's it. Funny, they were pretty big in Japan. I had no idea that they were actually a Danish band. Even funnier is that this song you linked is a remix of one of the songs they put out back in the 90's. A much worse remix I might add....

Thanks Hellmutt.
