The number 9 in some of the movie.

Why do they choose "9" in many movie this year

We have three movie that have "9":

G-Force: turn clockwise and you get 9-Force

It seem odd to see so many 9 in one year.

yea theres two movies with called nine the animation and the musical...theres also a couple other movies with the number nine in it...

as far as i know in the occult 9 in the number of the devil.

Here's something I found a while back that mentions a "Master" called "Beloved Number Nine" by some extraterrestrials during a surprisingly pleasant and extended abduction in 1954.

The abductee was a businessman named Armando Zurbaran, traveling near Acapulco. He has the distinction of being the first known abductee. His entry is number 18 on the page linked below.

Well, nine is GOD, 11 is the Magician.
9/11 , 1 being 9 skipping 10 to 11 , making you the Devil, the Magician .

This is a great example of selection bias. The OP is convinced there were a strangely large number of movies with '9' released in 2009.

Well, I've searched IMDb, and here are the tallies for each number (numeral, and spelled):

1: 48
One: 296

2: 121
Two: 67

3: 67
Three: 40

4: 26
Four: 32

5: 27
Five: 30

6: 17
Six: 17

7: 27
Seven: 24

8: 23
Eight: 9

9: 18
Nine: 15

0: 5
Zero: 16

(IMDb's search feature is somewhat intelligent, so the results are not perfectly accurate, some films will appear in both the numeric and word counts)

So, you can see, that actually '9' and 'nine' were featured in movie titles nearly the least out of all the single digits. Only 'Eight', '0', and 'Zero' were lower.

So no, I don't think 'they' even chose to use 9 or 'nine' in movies more than other numbers. I'm definitely not able to speculate on why a group of people did something they demonstrably did not do
