This is what a Shovel nose SHARK looks like, it is not a shovel nose skate, skate are more similar to sting rays, although i do no brag or claim those ugly fish as they are nothing pretty or prizey about them.

I caught this in my hometown of Santa Barbara, California.

What adorable little critters. I want an aquarium now. And little families of each. But some of them look like they bite.

Great pics, we know more about the surface of the moon than the surface floor of the oceans. By the way, was that a vintage German u-boat in the background?

The waters of our world hold many wonderful and dangerous creatures. It always amazes me to see how some are adapted to living in their particular regions. That combjelly is one of the coolest critters I've seen, like something from sci-fi or fantasy.
