My thread title is as it is not to be obnoxious (well, maybe a little), but an attempt to be ORIGINAL. I wrote my introduction three times, and each time was informed "there is already a thread with this title, please go back and change it". Each time I could not produce my written intro, so I got a bit frustrated.

Where was I? oh right. Hi! I've been lurking here for a few months, but was compelled to join so I could ask my own questions, and give my answers to a few I have read. It seemed that whenever I googled something I was looking for, a thread from ATS popped up. Joining is an attempt to save myself some time.

Something about myself: I am a writer and mother in New England. I was raised in a religious household before beginning to ask too many questions. My need for answers and information has brought me to diverse topics and areas of study-- and many seem to end up considered "conspiracies", or "theories". I only seek to know. Unfortunately, a few people telling me to look where they clearly know I cannot actually LOOK does little to persuade me. So here I am.

I like when people back their beliefs up with evidence. Tangible evidence. I can be sarcastic, but I also know that sarcasm is easily misunderstood in a text format, so I promise to restrain myself. I ask a lot of questions, and I can be a bit wordy. Apologies in advance. But i do look forward to learning with and from all of you.

Oh, and i often forget to capitalize my "I"'s.

Hahaha...thanks for giving the laugh by sharing your story about the title

Not to be sarcastic... but I wish that title thingy happened to everyone in their 1st post!

I know it sounds mean...but if you had spent a few days or weeks working on a thread and never used the "search" feature to check for existing titles and lost that info. it would be much more upsetting than an intro....

But hey welcome to ATS

BTW - There'll be plenty here to get frustrated about besides having to redo thread titles.

The dreaded "forgot the title" syndrome...

I still do that occasionally to this day... Annoying doesn't even begin to describe it...

Anyway, welcome to ATS. Don't forget to check out the lighter side on BTS either.

Welcome.

Great intro.

Welcome to ATS.

As always, any questions, please let us know.

I have few questions:

1. Why sun rises in a day?
2. Why is sky so high?
3. Why is Monday called Monday and not Tuesday?
4. Who came first the chicken or the egg?
5. Name of the person who created fire?
...I'll post more if you reply these....

I am new here also but I have already discovered that ATS'ers are a friendly lot. I hope your visits here are as rewarding as mine have been.

What I like is that for one person to research the entire web would take a lifetime, but when many like minded people do it and summarize their findings and discuss them, the learning process is exponential.

Have fun!

I know this wasn’t meat for me but I just could not resist, cheers!

1. Because it sets in a night!
2. Because the ground is so low!
3. Because Wednesday is not Thursday!
4. Who cares they both taste good

5. That’s classified! But I heard it maybe COOKIE MONSTER!

Have a nice day

I am easily engaged, and it seems that any qiestion demands I answer, so here goes.

1. How is babby formed? Or...it doesn't. We move.
2. Good dealer? Um..sky is relative. Be more specific please

3. Well, technically it isn't. As Monday is not a thing, it doesn't need to be called anything. It instead is a title we give to denote an event.
4. Well an egg is not a who of it's own until it is hatched. Before that it's just breakfast. I would have to go with whatever is higher up on the food chain.
5. A person didn't create fire. So, unanswerable. Next?
